I've been well, thank you. My exams are over and I'm on a vacation with a new computer, The Sims 3, and SoulSilver, so yeah. No complaints here. xD Also, since I'm on a vacation, you could also say I have insomnia, because I won't go to sleep before 3AM. (It's 2:35 AM on the moment...)
My cat destroyed my headset by chewing the wire, so my Skyping abilities are very much impaired on the moment. =( I just need to get Final Fantasy XIII and play XII through now that the PS2 works again... I want to restart FF rants with you ASAP. xD
And write that Yuffincent fic.

Random hi! How have you been?
Hope you are doing well. I'm going to prep some wall-o-texting, you know, since one of my friends just got Soul Silver. Also, I'm hit with insomnia so I should be able to do interesting things during the next days. Like, watching all of Brian de Palma's movies. Just because dad has caught'em all got most of them.
Beyond that, I have to go get a new e-mail account and set up Skype. And then, FFL Cabal!

Poking back. I'm all OK.
I live a bit south of the Earthquake Area, but we still got hit hard (and more with the replicas). I'll make the time soon for a wall-o-text. Enough things have changed that it may be interesting to tell.

Just poking here, after today's events. Are you all right? I can't remember if you ever told me where in Chile you live, but damn, I wish you and your friends and family are all right. Poke me back when you have time (seeing as what happened, you might not have any right now, so, yeah). I'd like to know you're fine.
Poke me back!

Yay! new chapter! *squees*
I'll try to do something about it, like, you know, reviewing, during the weekend. I commend you on not letting this interesting work simply go away.

Sorry for not being around much, I have some reeeeeally big tests coming up and I pretty much shouldn't do anything else than study right now. However, one of the tests is about English, so this can techincally be thought as studying for it... Right?
Also, we bought Final Fantasy XII and it's awesome. The main character sucks a bit, but the rest of the lot are so great they make it all good.
Anyway, all the best to you and I hope the fulfillment of your wish was adequate for now. I'll be working on it more later, okay?

I hope you're doing well now that you're back, Aurincha.
Let's wall-talk later.
And don't worry, this is not a prompt for you to continue on Secret People! :D

Yeah, I'm back all right! ^-^ By the way, I was supposed to take a picture of our new ultra-cool FF figurines to, you know, boast a bit and all... I didn't take a picture, but I did put them nicely in my bookcase. Anyway, after setting them up in cool poses and all, I noticed I had placed them in front of the three Chilian books I have (adventure books for adolescents by Isabel Allende). It just somehow stroke me as funny, and I thought I'd tell you.
Uh.... There was no point in this VM, now, was there?
On the bright side, I'm picking back my English skills. Soon enough I'll be writing long sentences again - long enough to make a Wall-o-Text in no time!

I'm alive! I'm alive! I'm a bit sicky on the moment, though, and seeing as I just returned from Japan, one might suspect it's The H1N1 I'm having. Although, if that was the case, I should have even a teensy bit of fever, which I don't really have. Also, my English might be a bit funny now since I haven't had to use it for a month or so. Well, I'll do my best to be understandable.
First of all, Japan was made of awesome and the trip was a serious win. I loved it there, and I'd go back any time. We spent most of our time in Osaka, which was a really cool city with areas ranging from "run-down suburb with mostly homeless people" to "ultra-modern scyscrapers and businesspeople" and from there to "an area specialised in selling electronics, toys, manga, and anime". We also went to Tokyo, which was a tad boring and overly confusing place; Kyoto, which was an even more confusing but ten times as beautiful as Tokyo; Hiroshima, which was actually a really charming city... I just loved the whole damn place. We bought two Final Fantasy figures, Vincent and Squall =D I also found small toys of Rinoa, and *gasp* Rydia and Edge. I've never wasted so much money on stuff in such a short time...
Actually, I don't have very much time to write now, so I'll handle the rest of your last Wall-O-Text later. Okay? Before I go for now, though, I have a question for you, concerning the infamous fic called Secret People. You see, I'm having a bit of a problem with the fic, one that won't really show up before the last chapters or so. Do you think I should work it up before I write the fic or just wait and see if it might work itself up and worry about it later? It has to do with, you know, the bad guys of the fic and so on. I don't really know what to do with the stupid problem. It's being all mean to me
Sorry for the short response, I promise to throw you with a Wall-O-Text sometime soon. But hey, at least I'm back now, right..?

Hey, Aurincha, don't worry 'bout Ivysaur. He's mine♥! -- I actually goto some lengths to stick to my claims, at least in the Poké and Series threads.
You know I definitively shouldn't be doing this. Wall-o-text-es I mean, because my thesis is getting quite complicated, more with me spending time in "less socially acceptable" acts such as writing fanfiction... I even managed to release a story that I was working on for a while instead of spending those ~8000 words in something more important like, you know, describing the State of the Art.
Oh and now that you mentiones physics and I mentioned SotA, thanks a lot for the quote on the Planck constant. The quote is great, I'd take it but a) I don't know the original source and b) your Vincent!Love quote is still too. damn. cool. to replace. Waveparticles and spatial measurement derivation is one of these things that I understand about physics despite the fact that don't understand several SIMPLER things such as three-dimensional completely-unelastic collision dynamics. Or exponential factor for liquid cooling. Or angular momentum. I mean COME ON! Momentum! I'm a weird case. Yes? Of course I am. I mean, who else can enjoy writing a Pokémon fanfiction about a lump with tentacles who sees humans as tubes with a head while complaining that the guy who came up with one-strike correction patterns for GTIN-12 encoded sequences projected on neck skin made the producers of Dark Angel look like a bunch of six-graders?
Oh, yeah, maybe you... :D
Hey what's the next field we can wreck talk about? Military-grade water course weaponry?
And yeah, XKCD is too big a thing. Maths, computers, social criticism and the like. It's my most favourite web comic (seconded closely by VGCats). I recall the author making some number of Pokémon references down the way, one of them a small sketch with a lamb thrusting some sort of beam against a cactus... and several people mistook it for a Mareep!
Besides it is one of my private envys. I mean, I can draw humans as stick figures too (the only way I can draw them), but still... Black-hat man? The truck comic you mentioned is a WIN (mostly because when I tried with my partners at Electromagnetism 2 we couldn't solve the problem ).
Ther'es another comic where he drives a nuclear submarine up through the ice casket in the Arctic to recover his hat from a girl I think. And then his version of a popular kind of joke...
It's good to see that you'll soon live one of your dreams with the Journey to Japan thing. I wanted to ask where in Japan are you leaving to, since well Japan is a big country. Oh and if that means I won't be seeing you for a while that's a shame, as I wanted to ask you if we could be Wall-o-Text cousins or couple or something like that, with all the PC family thing. Actually I wanted to ask you to explain me all that PC family stuff, but then I found a FAQ... -- By the time you come back I'll try and have a review of Mama's Boy's newest chapter. Yes, I noticed. Of course I did. Don't you think this is a poke for you to advance on Secret People, that would be just your wild imagination.
About the conference thing, no, I'm more like an "open counselor". I was asked to certify that the public opinions on matters of internet privacy are correctly reflected (or not) in a set of specific web sites and forums. Basically I translate from C++-speak → technobbable → telemarketing → forumspeak → technobabble (again) → ethic. Then the other guy (the Senator) tries to translate to Legalese. Stiill it is a very fun thing to do, and it will only last till September. I am not being payed but still am credited and recommended by my work so it's not much of an issue. Part of the reason why I use a penname to publish my stories is internet privacy (the other part is, fundamentally, that most of the fandoms I move around have a very bad fame where I live, and then there's the legal issue). I've taken time to construct at least five personalities in the Internet, one of which is the actual projection of my real persona (with real data and such) which I use for official matters, and the four others vary according the parts of the web where I surf. This particular personality is weak because I use it too much (I spend several hours at a time at the Lounge, mind you...) but is still not a major concern.
What is a major concern, and maybe I didn't tell you this before, was that in the conference previous to mine, about six months before, the main expositor, working for our national (C) and (R) agency, made his presentation with pirated copies of Windows and Office and the video of the "You have a pirated copy of Windows" activation dialog was leaked out to national TV (and of course the intertubes). That was FUN.
Now, I should really be leaving. You know, if I don't I won't, and that's quite a problem. It may happen to me like what happens to you, that is that the whole text ends up becoming a Wall-o-Text™, a thing we should Trademark™ or something...
...And, of course. it did. I mean look at what I wrote!
Oh and thanks for throwing the four seasons thing right in my face. Now I am looking at the torrential rain outside. And thinking why can't I live in Canada (which is my "live anywhere" dream).
Best wishes, and expecting to see you soon.

Thanks for the info. I'm kind of wondering what third Pokémon to claim... I haven't played with Ivysaur in so long that I don't want to claim it, nor do I want to reclaim Azelf. Well, well, I guess I'll come up with something.
That aside, I bumped upon the greatest explanation of physics I've ever seen in my entire life. The person was explaining the Planck's constant pretty accurately, and then summarized it with this: "What this means in English is that when you look at spatial matter of the universe in small enough scale, some really funky **** happens." I lol'd... that should be in school books all over the world. I don't really know if you're a physics nerd as well (as I recall, we've only covered math, Final Fantasy, biology and computers this far), but seeing as you adore XKCD I thought you might be and decided to share this win with you.
And, as this is kind of expanding to be a Wall-o-Text(™), I better stop now while it's still easy and I won't need a rehab. See you later, when you have time again! Although, I think I should mention that in eight short days I'll be leaving for Japan and stay there for three weeks... So, if I seem a bit unresponsive after the 3rd of July, you'll know that I'll be in Japan fulfiling a dream I've nurtured for the past nine years. The dream being, quite simply, visiting Japan. Wish me luck, if you can fit it your agenda ^-^ I have a faint memory of telling about this trip before, but I don't remember whether it was you I was talking to or someone else, and it must've been ages ago. Anywho, at least now you know for sure.
Also, now I'm really, really annoyed by the fact that I can't remember which character in which game overused the word "pal". It's super annoying to remember that someone somewhere did it, but to have no idea who it was and where... Argh! I think the game even hade voice acting... Why don't they have any search engines where you could input something like "the character in a game with voice acting who said 'pal' a lot" and get an answer? ;_; *headdesk* Or an enchanced memory chip to put in your brain?
Aaaaaand it became a minor Wall-o-Text(™). Damn!
