Well I didn't mean to say by "not really knowing you" that I have no idea who you are or anything because I did remember that we had talked before. But the thing was that I had no idea what that was about and besides, I'm just not interested about chit chatting about general pokemon related stuff. It's just not my thing.
I do spend a little bit of time helping others though
And no need to feel sorry for contacting me either! I'm a social person in every way but there are just subjects there that I don't feel like talking about in general (like pokemon games that is). I guess it just relies on what kind of a situation you are in life and that's not my thing anymore - I could have talked about pokemon stuff 3 or 4 years ago but nowadays, I don't find any interest in it. The two main reasons for DE being based on Silver are the facts that pokemon hacks are popular and I knew people would play my hack if it was a pokemon hack (comparing to a hack based on a general RPG game for instance). Another reason was because lots of great documentation Tauwasser and Koolboyman made in the past.
But yeah... you don't have to be "afraid" of talking or anything, or embarrassed by any means either We can talk about general things if you like, but I'm just not a person who likes to talk about pokemon or that sort of things. These days my focus in mainly on bowling (wanting to become a professional one day, no idea if that ever happens or not), IT studies and I spend rest of my spare time by just hanging around with others.
I apologize for triple posting on your account profile. It will not happen again. If you do not remember who I am I was the person that talked to you a while back about making a rombase with pokemon red tiles and minisprites inside firered. As I look back it is on your 3rd page back right now. And I also sorry for trying to have a conversation with you.
Well I don't really have anything extraordinary to tell about DE; haven't worked on it in a long time but I may get more stuff done this summer. The thing is that there are other things that are more important to me and they "go in DE's way".
I didn't know a thing about rom hacking in general before year 2010 - that's when the real "hacking career" began
I don't really know you and when I saw your first message there, I didn't reply back immediately because I just didn't feel like it. Besides, sometimes you don't feel like responding to messages your friends have sent you immediately either. So why I'm saying this is that you should learn some patience.
I'm not annoyed you by triple-posting in my page here, but many others would have gotten annoyed and wouldn't have replied back at all. If you are a guy, applies especially for girls!
Just advice in general
I just watched your video "I wanna be the Guy" on youtube and it was really funny. I was thinking about looking up the game, but I dont have a lot of time right now. Anyways how is your game coming along? I have started a new game hack of red. Well I started it a while ago, but it wasnt very much of a hack. I am using the disassembly posted on mibbit (the irc of skeetendo). Other than that I don't know anything else. Just checking in.
I am thinking about making it a rom base so people can edit it into a sort of "red version" hack. Will see how it turns out. Maybe I will have the tiles in soon. I have inserted a few, but I haven't actually made any towns or anything yet. I will show you once I have so significant progress under way.
I'm good, haven't been doing any hacking in ages though. I have university life, other hobbies, and such to keep me busy.
Sounds like a cool idea to me. Personally, I don't feel like playing anything that doesn't have anything exceptional in it though. But it goes fine as a minor feature. Scripting and programming skill is the thing though
Miksy how is it going? I havent talked with you forever it seems. How is your game coming along. What do you think about this idea? Inserting red tiles into pokemon firered. I would also insert the minisprites and other stuff too. Hmm dont know anything else really. Talk to you later.
