Lol, don't worry. :p I'm probably going to go to bed soon anyways.
The less information we have = the more anxious and excited we become. It's a bittersweet situation. x) & that's an interesting question to ask. I think they might. I mean, they have in the past, so why not. There are definitely some Pokemon out of the 700+ we have now that either deserve a pre-evolution or an evolution. I could name a quite a number of them, haha.
Since it's kinda difficult to explain, I'm gonna copy an excerpt I found about both IVs/EVs from Serebii:
EV Training is a special training to help you make you Pokemon's stats more than usual, or more than it would be if you just left them in the Day-Care or used Rare Candies all the way through to get them to level 100. Anyways, an EV is an Effort Value, each Pokemon gives a certain amount of Effort Values to certain stats, 4 Effort Values make the stat increase by 1. Ex, a Patrat gives of 1 EV for Attack, so if I kill 4 Patrats, I get 4 Attack EVs, and the Pokemon who participated in all 4 battles would gain +1 in the Attack stat. A Pokemon can have a total of 510 EVs, and only 255 EVs in 1 single stat, giving you a chance to fully maximize 2 stats.
For IV Training, IVs are Individual Values, they are numbers that increase your stats, ranging from 0-31. The higher the IV, the higher the IV in each of your stats, the higher your Pokemon's stats will be. You just pretty much have to catch or breed Pokemon continuously until you get 31 IVs in the stats you need them to be in.
Don't worry, I had no idea what both meant before I actually researched into what they mean and how you train them.
That's pretty cool that you write fan-fics! You should definitely post some of your own in the fan-fic forum. x) What do you write about specifically?
Anyways, I don't think they've ever released "complete" details for any of the games that have been released before the games were actually released, if that makes sense, haha. What I'm trying to say is that for sure I think we'll see many more details in the upcoming months about X & Y than we know now, but we won't know all of the Pokemon featured within the game until the games are actually released to the public, lol.
I pretty much play for fun, too, but I have been getting interested in breeding/IV-EV training now, so let's see how that works out. I haven't started yet. I still haven't acquainted myself with all the nature/move-set stuff, though. It's too much info for me, ahhhhhh! xD
I just trained my Pokemon the normal way: by battling trainers and wild Pokemon if I needed more levels. :\ I could have saved time, though, if I would have trained on Pokemon like Audino, for example. & no I don't write fan-fiction. o: Why? I like reading it, though.
I doubt they'd release the entire Pokemon list before they release the actual games, but I think we'll have a ton more information by that time. October couldn't come any slower. @_@ The videos/trailers are always the best because animals are always better than actual pictures.
I usually only ever use the Pokemon available in-game in all of my gameplays. My team in Diamond was nooby, haha. I wasn't actually playing with a strategy; rather, I was trying to get to the post-game so I could gain access to the Pal Park to transfer between the games because I want to get into breeding like I told you earlier. x)
I've never actually used Audino to train but I know it's a good alternative to get quick exp. :p
They are teasing us really badly. xP I'm hoping that as we get closer to the release date (and seeing as X & Y will have a worldwide release) we'll get more info. It looks like the setting of the game will take place in like France or something. That'd definitely be cool to see Pokemon become more realistic and take place in actual real-world settings.
Well, I just recently replayed my Diamond like I was telling you, but other than that, I haven't really played. I've been reading the manga a bit and have been updating myself with info from X & Y from Serebii and from here at PC. :]
That's cool that you traded your Torchic. I think you mean you grinded against Audino's, which give an ultra amount of exp. points, haha. That's cool, though. I might try that out with my B2.
I did enjoy B2/W2 way more than the prequel games. I actually don't have any friend codes for my games by I haven't really needed to, haha. I'm going to probably get into breeding soon, and once I get a friend code, I'll definitely let you know. :p
I can't wait for more news, either! They're giving it out so very slowly and it's really making me anxious. The games look so cool, especially since they're going to be the first for the 3DS so we're going to get major graphic improvements. & yeah, I finished my Black 2 but haven't really done anything post-game. I don't even remember my team. I would have to load the game to tell you, but I can definitely tell you that I only used Pokemon that were available during the game. x)
Gen V was very bad even though I love B2/W2 what's your friend code for those games, I'll add you!
Gosh, now I'm so excited to find out! XD I cannot wait for more news, I want to know everything right now XD have you finished B2/W2? And what's your team? Mine for the moment is Combusken [lvl 23] XD I'm trying to find a Eevee with a calm nature for Vaperon.
