Well in my country 18 is the legal age of becoming an adult. 21 means nothing over here. Tbh being able to buy that sort of stuff is kinda dangerous imo. Alcohol is one thing, most of the time desensitising kids to it makes it less of a problem but cigarettes are going a step too far ):

Legally, you're an adult once you turn 21. Saying you're an adult because you've got legal permission to buy alcohol and cigarettes would make me an adult, too! I'm 16 and in my country that means being allowed to buy alcohol, cigarettes, a scooter and one of those cool 45km-cars, whom can actually drive 70 km/h.
The only thing I can't buy at 16 is weed, I'll have to turn 18 for that but as I turned 16 yesterday I'll have to waut two years for that
