    Fair enough! Working on your hack is more important! What kind of ASM is this? Routines to show mutation? Or just various little things to make it more fun. I look forward to it, I found the first one a scream

    Lol, when I find some good free time, I will down and bang out some more. I've been doing a lot of ASM work for Derpizard, so not much on moves.

    Sure thing! I think once we've sorted it 100% it'll be a gold standard! Eh to be honest its not so much painful anymore as just inconvenient. I never thought i'd say it but I'm actually sick of eating ice cream hahaha!

    Thanks man! No, I haven't done any more work. Would you mind adding what you learned to the thread on Social? About that command that moves the backsprites? I remember getting my wisdom teeth out, it sucks bro:p.

    You and DrFuji are legends ! That Battle Background tutorial is arguably the only tutorial that really needed to be made, thanks so much. I'll be doing a lot of experimenting with that hahaha. Also how'd the research into move animations go? Did you try expanding the actual table and palette itself yet? I would have but I recently got my wisdom teeth removed and have been unmotivated to do anything more difficult than resizing Gen 4. and 5. sprites!

    Ah of course! I'd never thought of that. So basically the table will have the pointer to the thing in UNLZ. That's great work, I can't believe I didn't think of that! I've added you on skype btw (or someone with a potentially similar name!)

    Yeah, I found the table: go into un-lz and find the chop particle. Then, search for its pointer. The only location is in the 27 table, which is immedietly followed by the 28 table.

    Yeah I figured the 28 table wouldn't be full. Have you been able to find the actual table? I didn't see how say 1D 28 acted as a pointer. But yeah that would be incredibly interesting I must say!

    I may be wrong but I believe Cross chop rotated the chopping thing? I don't remember the Gen 3 animation to be honest. But thats really interesting. Have you been able to find anything that links to the offset of the fist or chop thing itself? Because that would mean making completely new particles may be possible.

    I simply downloaded the sheet from Un-lz that had the chop, fist, foot, and bird's foot on it, selected the chop, rotated it, cleaned it up, and wrote it back into un-lz over the original.

    And yes, that does mean that anything which uses the chop shape will be rotated. I was unable to find a rotate command so I had to do it manually. Are there any animations that rotate? I was able to get it to reflect, but no rotate.

    Really cool stuff Just a question about the chop itself. When you rotated it with gimp how did you get the rom to recognize it? Did you just post it over the original chop? If you did do that, does that mean any other moves that used the chop shape (if there are any) will rotate as well?

    Dude, so I have been editing my comments on my post on Social... Holy crap, I have learned a lot. I can now control the chop with some confidence. I'm going to post a video later of what it should look like:p.
