Quite possibly. It is a bit tiring, yeah..
I am refreshing my knowledge sort of I guess... but the stuff is like the real basics so I apply them whenever I play music anyway soo yeah..
But I am using it to my advantage! It's helping me to learn improvisation (before I could only play something if I had the sheet of music in front of me) and learning to play more in a group, so it is good, just, yeah, it's just the theory side of it that I already know.
The only thing I'm really finding boring at the moment is a couple of the classes in my course (music), because they're teaching stuff which I already know to people who don't know it (most of the class).. so I'm just sitting there most of the time finishing way ahead of everyone else.
Ah, no, that's not the case, you did not understand. My life is not dull, I have many creative activities and I enjoy them. It's the things I cannot avoid that are torturing me: school, and after school classes (english and spanish). The start of the week signals another round of those two.
Yeah, but back then I was really impatient and just couldn't handle it. And now.. I really couldn't be bothered :P
It is a way of living, for certain people. I mean, everyone has their own style, right? So, for some, it's good to do that, for others... not so much...
hmm... A little. We know another family who has kids that are about a million times more competitive than us! Because their mum only complimented them when they did something good. Our parents... well, they didn't always compliment us, I admit, but they did also encourage us through the bad times (you know, unless they lost their temper with us [unfortunately, they did that with me quite a lot]), so.. I guess we're a little competitive, but not as much as I know we could have been.
