    I invite you to be creative regarding this matter. Personally, I don't think that ghosts can be categorized as living beings - so their 'death' is different as well. Perhaps they do go to a different plane of existence, like living beings, when they die, whence they're unable to come back. As for when their remains when they die, that may depend on what species the Pokemon is. Ghastlies wouldn't leave anything behind; that's just what Tsulong thought. The cold hard truth is, that black spot was the remains of Stranger's blast of dark energy which vaporized the ghost. xD

    You ever wondered if ghost types have an actual anatomy? Or if its plausible for them to die? I remember Bane, the gastly disappearing but leaving nothing but a black spot on the ground.
