Some time after the end of the Zero Series, humans and reploids agreed to various conditions to prevent a war between their two sides. Reploids agreed to have a lifespan, as well as no weapons systems, and humans agreed to having mechanical implements added to their bodies. Mainly though, their unable to fight at all, except for handguns used by Ashe & Grey in ZXA. The reploid powers come from the armors created by the various Models used by them such as Model X, Z & A.

Really? Humans with Reploid abilities? How does that work?

The majority of the ZX playable characters are humans, a first in the series. Aile & Vent, the player options in MegaMan ZX, are human, as is Ashe, the female player character in MegaMan ZX Advent. Grey, ZX Advent's male option, is the only reploid. I didn't enjoy X7 because of that, I love X8 though, its 3D, but still a side view like the others. They have slimer designs in it too and Zero's hair is a slim ponytail instead of a bushy one.

Ha, I usually can never find where my games are. :/ So, replaying a game then? Are the main characters in ZX humans or reploids? I'm actually on X7 right now. I was seriously surprised with some of the gameplay since it wasn't in the usual side-view.

I do, but I have all of them in specialized places, I have a slight obsessive compulsive disorder, everything I own must be in a certain spot. I probably lent it out to someone and forgot who though.

I'm close, but I've taken a break to rebeat MegaMan ZX, so that Aile will have Model X at all times.

You don't have a ton of games just lying around, like I do, right? :O Never seem to put them back in their cases. Or could this have anything to do with your brother, lol? I've never beaten FFIV. I have it for the PSX (FF Chronicles, I think) I'm at the last save before the final boss. I just can't win though. :/

    Aw. Will do Ma'am.

    I figured you would. ^.^
I'm losing my mind, I can't find my MegaMan ZX Advent! I don't know where it went! I'm close to beating Final Fantasy IV for the DS though.

Unless the club is posted tonight, I probably won't be here to see it posted. As I'll be without internet for a couple days, so you can tell anyone that tries to join that they are accepted for me if you wanna. ^.^

Yeah, I agree. I have corrupted versions of Rosa, but no Terra sadly. I don't know why, but I like seeing sweet girls like Rydia in a dark light.

I've submitted a thread for a new club, the MegaMan/Rockman Fan Club! Keep a look out for it if you're interested in joining. I'll be making banners based off of MegaMan sprites from various series. I think these ones will vary a little more than their FF counterparts.

Dark corrupted version? Haha, we need to see Terra in that form. ;D

I love adding characters in MUGEN.
I love MegaMan in that as well as Morrigan, Roll, & Spider-Man.
Thanks, its a dark corrupted version of Rydia. I love Morrigan, and her 'sister' Lilith.

I use to play Mugen. Adding characters always annoyed me though. :/ I loved using Megaman is MvC2. He had a pretty awesome special. Btw, sweet avatar. I thought it was Morrigan for a second. (If you know who that is. ;D)

Yeah, it was an Onimusha fighting game spin-off. Zero & MegaMan.exe both had stages even, Exe had the Cyber Net and Zero had a ruined MMZ-esque skyscraper. I agree that Zero needs to be in a new one. I have an edited SVC Zero, as well as the original, in my MUGEN game with a more MMZ gameplay style moveset. I also have MegaMan, Roll, & Tron Bonne from MvC2, Bass, Protoman, Cutman, & X based on MegaMan's MvC2 sprites & moveset, an original MegaMan X, an original MegaMan.exe, an original MMX style Zero based on his X4 moveset, a MegaMan 8 Yellow Devil, an original Mettaur, all MMZ humanoid reploid bosses, including Omega Zero & Copy X in their in-game style, Vent, Aile, and Giro in their in-game styles, and Bass.exe in his in-game style.

Seriously? Can you actually play using an emulator? I tried for some of the X games, but it just never felt comfortable so I just bought the collection instead.

Haha, Zero appeared in Onimusha? What the? There's need to be another Capcom vs. game with Zero in it. SVC Chaos was average at best so they didn't really get his full potential.

Actually, I was aware of that. Pretty interesting actually. I always thought that it was ironic that Wily's and Light's last creation would end up being friends. ;D

I actually played the original MegaMan games via Emulator, although my friend owns the Anniversary Collection. I really don't know, he just did. If I'm right, its 900 points, with ProtoMan Mode as an additional 200 and an extra level at 100 points among other things.

The history behind the X series is that Capcom wanted to make a new, darker MegaMan for the new system. A little known fact is that Zero was designed before MegaMan X and was originally meant to be the main character. However Capcom felt that they needed a character that looked more like the original MegaMan so that the series would be seen as a follow up to the originals. I think thats the reason that the MegaMan Zero series came out.

Did you know that X is the only MegaMan main character not to make a playable cameo in a fighting game?

    MegaMan.exe - Onimusha Blade Warriors
Zero (MMZ) - Onimusha Blade Warriors, SVC Chaos: SNK vs Capcom
