    i did see that yeah. i probably should have gone with exeggutor (or however you spell it) over victreebel, although i was just fine with only parasect and venusaur. didnt even need swords dance. sleep and leech seed FTW. And btw, i dont like it when people use 'gay' in the way you did, in a negative connotation.

    hey, did you see my kanto grass mono team? it's a couple posts before your recent one. I only really had much trouble in the Elite Four with my rival's Charizard - gay Fire Spin...
    I did spam Hyper Potions on Parasect some though.

    I really don't know. It's hard because you can't catch pikachu or chinchou until really late. Probably duo with manectric and minun until i can get chinchou. and why emerald? 3 words: wallace is champion

    Hey, did your Machamp on Platinum have No Guard or Guts? Because DynamicPunch is better than Cross Chop for him with No Guard.

    In terms of getting one in crystal, I think that it may be more difficult to get one in crystal for some reason. Gold and Silver work for the early locations, it seems...did you try different times of day?

    By the way, if you get a Spearow or Aipom, keep hitting it. If not, the tree is a Forest tree and won't give you a Heracross.
