I was under the impression that the HoF team had disbanded entirely.
It has been awhile; I sort of took an unannounced leave of absence from PC, wasn't much reason for me to stick around. Progress on my fangame has been slowly increasing, though, so I figured I'd stick around longer this time.
I got really busy and I felt bad about pixeling what I wanted because I have responsibilities at HoF. "Let's make a random trainer!" ... "I should be working on that Kay trainer sprite instead..."
Now during school I've got 3 art classes so I'm not going to expect to have much free time. I just like playing sprites while I can and not worry about HoF as 90% of the other members are also on a hiatus.
Oh yeah, I laughed because our lass conversation was in April.
What made you stop pixel arting in the first place? Your stuff is so good. D:
I'm split on the HG/SS stuff. On one hand, Claire no longer looks old and Lt. Surge is the manliest Gym Leader ever now. On the flip side, Sabrina looks really boring and Jasmine looks a little constipated... =/
I'm actually one the few people that didn't go to Serebii and Bulbapedia before here. I just...stumbled here I guess. I think this place has been around 6+ years?
This place doesn't have a site attached to it so that's why it's probably more stable.
Well...I first played with Sailormoon pixels when I was about 10. Stopped. Did a few things on Gaia for like 6 months. Stopped. Then started my first thread on here...August 2008. Less than a year ago.
Collectively about 2 years? Also though my art has developed greatly in this past year because of my art classes and it translates into pixels as well.
Yeah, I've always wanted a Pokemon-centric forum to chillax at. Serebii is really cool and they've got years of history and whatnot, but the place is just too slow; server is always crashing and whatnot.
How long has you been doing the pixel business? You mentioned having moar experience than the average joe in your thread; I'd imagine to get your skillz you'd need alot of practice. :O
