All right, it's no problem. Good luck with your exams, whenever they may be.

    Hi, Melash.
I'm here to apologize, for not getting back to you for... Over two months. It's clear that I wasn't really cut out to sprite for AncientEmerald, and I'm sorry for wasting your time. And, (though I'm sure you couldn't care less) I won't be able to resume "helping" (fat lotta good I did, lol) you, because I'm in my final year at school, and I won't be able to work with anyone's project's until after I've done my exams. So, sorry again. Thanks for letting me try in the first place, and I wish you the best of luck with AncientEmerald. I'll be sure to keep two eyes on it.

Yes, trust me, there will be the Battle Frontier. Please respond back when you get some of the sprites done.

    Ok, I was right.
I know i keep saying I'll get to it, without showing anything, but I'll have some for you later today. I see it's now AncientEmerald! Excellent!
(Although, may I ask- are you gonna be able to do the Frontier?)

Yes, that tutorial was wrong, all GBC sprites only have two shades, no matter what. They also have black and white, which cannot be edited without editing the black and white in every single sprite in the game.

    Ok!
Btw, I've been working using only 4 colours, but that first tutorial you gave me (the Lugias-island one), that one used 5? I'm a bit confused. Perhaps that tutorial wasn't for actual ROM hacking, just for the sake of spriting.. So it's definately 2 shades, and black and white, isn't it?

Yeah, I would still like you as my spriter, but you just to practice a bit more at devamping. Keep practicing.

Yeah, no worries, i'd only ever played around with devamps before, it's no wonder their's are better. Although..
I think mine do only have 4 colours- but you were probably just reminding me, so disregard this if that's true. Um..
Ok, yeah, i'll get to it.
PS. Sorry for my late reply, i've been a bit busy recently.

Sorry I didn't have to time to respond, I actually haven't been on in a long time. Anyway, I have someone else also doing devamps, and their's seem to be better than your's, no offense. However, I think you should read these two tutorials and practice devamping, then come back to me:

There you go, remember, only FOUR colors, two of which must be black and white.
