My eczema got pretty severe during Christmas so I can't say I enjoyed it as much as I hoped. Luckily I recovered quickly afterwards so I'm enjoying the rest of the break. How was yours?
If VC is included I got you covered. I honestly think Donkey Kong GB and Wario Land 2/3 (1 too if you think you'll enjoy a traditional mario games with a twist) are must plays. How's Ace Attorney for you?
Also I think I found my new favorite 3DS game. No Kid Icarus mind you, but pretty damn close.

Yeah I guess so. How was your Christmas? Been playing through Ace Attorney and a bit of other stuff.

Does that include Virtual Console? All I have is Picross e2 otherwise.

Lol, shame I've only played one of those games. And yeah I heard, Genius Sonority; I played the Denpa Men Demo and while it was kind of cool, it just didn't do it for me; I don't think I'd drop $10 on it. Speaking of which, what would you say are the best eshop games? I have Pushmo and Dillon's Rolling Western, as well as a few others and I really like both.

GCN is my favorite console that gen because of the holy trinity of F-Zero GX, SSB Melee and Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. (You could extend that and add Metroid Prime and Resident Evil 4) No GCN collection is complete without those games imo.
GF aren't really involved with the shadow games tho. The developers who made those actually released an apparently very good RPG on the eShop called Denpa Men.

GCN was a solid console, I should really hook mine back up and play some of the old games I had. Man I really hope GF isn't dumb though and gives us another Shadow Pokemon game, surely they've considered it based on market research or being asked about it.

It and Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance are two gamecube games that I really want but I know I'l never play. :( And yeah there's a DS game but I kinda felt I should somehow play the GCN game first. Custom Robo Arena is a pretty cute game.

Lol the GCN one was around for like $10 used at my local gamestop but I never grabbed it, kind of wish I had. I think they made another Chibi Robo for the old DS too so I guess you could always try that. Reminds me now I still need to try out Custom Robo Arena.

Pretty sure Nintendo has a strict policy on only releasing one MK title per hardware. And whoa really? I always wanted to try out the series, but the GCN game is seriously expensive. I'll give this one a try.

Yeah, MK7 is pretty cool, I'm hoping we get 1 more MK for 3DS before the console dies though. Looks like we're getting Chibi Robo for 3DS really soon too, I'm somewhat interested in that, looks like it might be fun.

Boo, but it's expected.
We already got an MK in MK7, which is pretty great outside of being barebones.

MK8 looks cool I've got to say, shame they didn't do a 3ds release though, since I don't have a Wii U nor do I plan to get one. Definitely sensible on their part, though, the Wii U is sort of a hard sell at the moment whereas the 3ds has a lot of great titles already.

That's my problem with it. SF64 is clearly designed for on-rails. It's not game breaking or anything but it's annoying.
Why not? Didn't hear anything to detract that...
December 17th, 2013 8:51 PMchampagnepapi
It's just annoying to turn around and all that, I kept having to twist the arwing and hopefully shoot the stuff. Pilotwings is okay, but it can be pretty annoying to fly and do missions in the same vein as all range mode [or I'm just bad]. And yeah, let's hope. Also it looks like smash isn't coming out Spring 2014 :/

How's Pilotwings? And yeah I actually hate All-Range mode. Won't lie, it's probably my least favorite thing in Star Fox 64. Ugh.
Yeah would be cool to see, those games were such a breath of fresh air with an awesome atmosphere.
