I have just finished the arc before the said arc so I wouldn't know if what he's saying is true or not. But the one I finished was pretty damn long and enjoyable at the same time. It was also one of the most brutal arcs I've ever seen in Shonen. I haven't seen people's heads getting eaten and limbs being torn off in jump - really gory stuff. But yeah, the arc is really long - maybe 100+ chapters so I think it'll take a while if you read it. What sets it apart from manga like Bleach and Naruto is that the guy actually did put quite a bit of thought into it. Fights are creative like the ones in OP. And he provides tons of information about everything in HxH world - he really did think things through before writing stuff.
So yeah, all in all, amazing ****. I really hope you start it asap.
Yeah, damn straight. I searched for stocks on him as well but I couldn't find anything I could work on. He's one of the most good-looking main characters ever, imo. Also, when are you giving HxH a chance? If I had to rank my fave series, I'd place it only below One Piece and maybe a few others like FMA: Brotherhood. It is really good.
SAO is garbage. Pathetic characters and non existent pacing were probably the biggest flaws. I often read people complementing the art an animation. The character design is about as uncreative as you can get and I don't class zooming way out and showing sparks fly as swords clash good animation.
Some of the music was ok although that was still not great in comparison to most of Yuki Kajiura's other work.
Though I'd agree. Oda really does come up with stuff that you least expect a lot of times. Oh, and I heard you dislike SAO? Is it really that bad of a show? Haven't really seen it but was planning to watch it once due to it being all the rage with people these days..
I know an endless number of things can happen. Was merely asking for something out of those possibilities that you thought were the most likely to happen. :p But if you ask me, I'd totally say Dofla's gonna run with his tail between his legs leaving Smoker alone. I mean, he definitely can't face up to a man like Aokiji who faced the freakin' fleet admiral in a 10 day long battle, right? Smoker got off-paneled, imo, due to him not having his primary weapon and injured due to all the battles he had had in PH. So Dofla might not really be as strong as the chapter made it seem like. But yeah, coming back to the choice of him facing upto kiji - he doesn't have time, either. There's no way he can get into a confrontation with someone like him while Law has him completely screwed, lmao. Kiji will probably let Dofla leave as long as Smoker's left as he is. 'Kiji's, after all, kinda lazy. XD;
