Thank you! And as for Assassin's Creed, I've seen people who appreciate both the plot and the gameplay separately. I don't really understand the overall plot myself since I've only played a couple of games out of order, but I know a few people who love the series for the plot and they think that the overall story with Desmond is kind of wavering.
As for the gameplay, it's always struck me as a more complex Sly Cooper. The level of detail put into how you choose to explore the map is amazing. But as I said, I'm far from an expert. Haha.
I've played 1 and I have Brotherhood and they're okay. In my mind they're with Devil May Cry in the "I don't care for the plot but the gameplay is great" category. 3 looks really fun and I've heard great things about it, but there's a slim chance that I'll ever play it because I'm not that invested in the series.
Nice to see someone here mentioning Devil May Cry. :3 But yes, isn't Assassin's Creed series known more for its plot rather than the gameplay? I, for one, considered it a game with fun gameplay and good story. Gameplay was and has always been a little too simplistic to be considered the first thing that defines the series. But that may just be me, haha.
Oh, and welcome back to PC after so many years. :]
