Just wondering because you get some nice sounds outta that. I used to use it vaguely for MIDI songs. I think that was the deal. I wish I had a Windows sometimes though because I don't know if you can use it on Mac. I will give it a try though. My dad (who is also a musician but better) uses Acid Pro 6.0 and that is used as one of the "official" mash-up programs so I hope that works with Wine. And sorry for the long time between our messages I was listening to Justice and taking over the Off-Topic Discussions area of PC.
EDIT: I vague use controllers too even though I play piano. I still suck even if I had been playing for a year. :p
I don't use any controllers, actually, I just use FL Studio 10. The Producer edition (ie. the Full Edition)- although as far as I'm aware, the only thing restrictive of the Trial version is that you can't OPEN projects you've saved, so you have to leave it open for days, or do it all in one sitting, which is a bit annoying.
I just use samples and mainly the default synths, and input notes by the mouse-click. In terms of beats/percussion.. well, it's the same. I looks for drum samples online, and make beats by the mouse-click. (That's fun to say :P).
I have school next week sadly and have 11 days off. The week after the 11 days is all half days. I am planning to start using Adobe Flash because of Alan Becker's Animator vs Animation, and plan to get 2 new video games, and a new laptop (Alienware vs Mac. Which one?), and some clothes with videogame, tv show, ect. logos or references. Not much but thanks for asking. I hope you ace your exams! Merry Christmas!_
