    I don't have any inkling to use them, I'm just wondering why is all. That reason was obviously BS, after all.

    If you can battle over wi-fi, then you can get any of those (because you can trade over wi-fi, if it you can't put that together for yourself). The trade boards exist for that reason.

    Anyone can easily get any of them, your logic for the latter rule fails.

    no items- to make it a challenge.
    no darkarai shamin arceus and deoxys- I don't think its fair to use a Pokemon that isn't obtainable to most people.

    None of the following pokemon are allowed: Arceus, Shaymin, Darkarai, and Deoxys (all forms).

    Because I'm a curious fellow, I'm wondering why you chose these rules, it's certainly different.
