    Well, seafood is gross, but so is bacon.

    I remember the classic American conversations about food
    "Real cheese is so nasty, and people eat it mouldy! eww!"
    "You don't like fast food?"
    "Seafood is gross, why would you eat that when you can have bacon?"
    Probably more I can't remember.

    I remember looking it up before and iirc it is pretty much either taken from another country, processed, or barbecued meat
