ahg no it still dont wana work have no clue why..... this really sucks i compile and i use the start offset im so confused i think i shall try find a good scripter for now to help meh with meh game for now but thanx for trying to help meh
There doesn't appear to be anything that would be killing the script, but I've made a few improvements as to how it should be layed out.
msgbox @talk 0x2
I'm assuming you're using FR, so it would be best to have your dynamic offset start at 0x800000 as there is miles of free space so you won't accidently overwrite something important. Msgbox type 0x2 eliminates the need for the lock and faceplayer commands as it sets them for you.
And just making sure: You're copying the offset for 'start' rather than the text.
lol thanx i used to use pokescript and now swtching to xse but my problem is that once i write my script and i insert it (this is just a normal script not multichoice) when i speak to the person my messgae doesnt get displayed on the screen do you know what im doing wrong? i still need some scrfipters for my hack so i need to try learn xse quickly i know alot pokescript commands but xse is a bit doffrent but thats my main problem up their[exuse my spellin]
Where did you hear you can only do multichoice scripts with Pokescript? Of course you can do them in XSE :P. Every completed script editing/ creating tool should be able to perform multichoice commands, afterall, there isn't a scripting command that only functions in one tool and isn't supported by any others.
In XSE multichoice scripts are set out like this:
multichoice 0xX 0xY 0xZ 0xW
copyvar 0x800D 0x8000
compare 0x8000 0x0
if 0x1 goto @Option1
compare 0x8000 0x1
if 0x1 goto @Option2
Where, X = The X-axis of the multichoice box, Y = Y-axis of the box, Z = The multichoice ID (You can find these in XSE's appendix) and W = Whether you can use B to escape before selecting an answer (either 0x0 or 0x1).
