I mean I'm not entirely sure. It might actually be a check for the national dex then, but it would be in that area. Maybe look at how Jambo fixed evolutions work for National Dex pokemon, it mightbe more that style.
Oh I already know about those, they're in your post too. I tried looking around the limiter byte for habitats, I'm not sure exactly what I'm looking for though. Just changing every instance of 96 didn't have any effect.
I think it's to do with displaying numbers. In the actual Pokedex and habitat screens for example it'd be 0x96 because it'd go by an index, whereas in other terms it's 97 because Bulbasaur is 1 not 0. I'm not 100 percent sure to be honest but yeah.
On this thread right? Just looked through the whole thing and I couldn't find anything. Also, why is it that some limiters are 0x97 and some are 96? Is it just that a few of them are -1 for some reason?
Hey, I was looking into expanding the kanto dex and I found these old posts of yours (1, 2). They were a big help, but there's one problem. There appears to be another limiter for when you capture a wild pokemon (the Pokedex screen doesn't pop up for anything past 151) . Did you happen to find any other offsets, or do any more research into it?
Just a few text bugs with your base, they're pretty minor and irrelevant but someone reported these to me so I thought I'd pass them along. Also, I was wondering if you've fixed the daycare bug in your latest patch - if so, it'd be great if you could send me the fix.
Sorry, I don't keep a list or anything. I've just stumbled across a lot of them while working on my hack. Off the top of my head, the move relearner script isn't fully decapitalized, same thing with the move tutor in the Dept. Store (who teaches counter). It's probably the same with other move tutors, haven't checked though.
