    Wait for the movements don't put release end at the end of them. 0xFE marks the end of movements, release makes it so the person we are talking to move and releases the player. And end ends the script so putting end in the movements will end the script, try removing release end from the movements and see what happens.

    Hey, back to the applymovements thing I have 2 scripts that freeze. I put them on a Script tile. Or do applymovement scripts HAVE to be on a trainer? Anyway this script froze on a tile:

    It's alright. I don't know many off the top of my head but I know the diegoisawesome scripting tuorial has them. Pretty sure the help section in XSE under Appendix does too. The only ones I know off the top of my head are 0x113, you use it before you move the screen, 0x114, you use after you're done moving the screen, and 0x0, this heals your Pokemon.

    Strangely enough now my applymovement scripts work xD Sorry to have bothered you. Hope it doesn't happen again. I h ave another question, though. Assuming you know specials, I know the checkpokemon special, but I don't know any other, do you maybe?

    Hmmm. I need to know more about the scripts before I can say anything. My best bet is that you forgot to put waitmovement 0x0 (or perhaps the pause command) after your movements. But once again it would be more helpful if I could see one of your scripts that isn't working.

    No, I must've said something wrong, because I've given you the impression that I put trainerbattles on script tiles, but I meant applymovement scripts. If I do that, it freezes. If I assign them to a person, they display a message, but don't do the applymovement, most of the time.

    Wait, you're putting trainer battles on script boxes? You don't do that if you want a regular battle. The script goes like this:

    trainerbattle
    battle text
    messagebox

    I can't remeber off the top of my head if that's how it goes but the point is you do the script, then in A-Map assign it to a person event, check the "trainer" box and set the veiw radius. (How many tiles they can see from. For example, if I put the veiw radius at 3 and stood 4 steps away from them, they wouldn't see me. If I took a step foward they would.)

    Ok. The trainerbattle, I know fully understand. Thanks for the tip. But now, it's about applymovement. I get the whole command and stuff. But almost everytime I put it in a Script tile in A-map it freezes. When I put it in a trainer, it just doesn't do the applymovement. Sometimes it works, like with the camera applymovement, that works. Any ideas?

    Okay, actually I haven't used trainerbattle yet (just converted from pokescript to XSE) but I'll do the best I can. To my knowledge the first parameter is the battle type, I think you know both of them. (Regular and continuing) The second one is of course the trainer ID, what is the trainer ID? To know you have to use wither PET or A-Trainer. (I prefer A-Trainer) Here you open up your ROM (using A-Trainer) and there are a lot of numbers in hex, these are trainer ID's. If you scoll down you'll see some have names and others don't. The nameless ones are free ones. By selecting one you're free to do anything, edit the sprite, name, music, money, and Pokemon. You should be able to figure out how to work the program without my explaining. Make sure to use the ID that your trainer is on in A-Trainer in your script. There isn't much I know on the thrid parameter so just keep it 0x0. Hopefully you know how to make people trainers and I hope that I managed to help you.

    My first question is about the command trainerbattle. I can use the command, and most of the parameters,but I think, I'm not sure, I don't understand the second one, after you say which kind off battle it is, (0x0 norma, 0x1 gym etc).
    I want to know how do you edit the pokemon of the trainer? How can I say: that trainer has to have a pikachu for instance. And I'm getting the feeling, that's in the second parameter, although that's the trainer ID. Or can you edit that in A-map or something? Thanks again!

    I wouldn't call myself an advance scriptor, considweing that I've never hacked before. But I seem to be giving myself that reputataion. However if you want help then I'll do the best I can, just tell me any specific thing you want to know and I'll see what I can do.
