You're in lagos hey hope you're having fun! I took up french...well I don't know why but it was worth it, imo. Besides if I ever decide to go learn Spanish again it'll be easier.
I use to go on nairaland about around this time last year. Haven't been on much since, I got tired of the users.

Well I'm temporarily in Lagos and the school I attend teaches Yoruba and frankly, I don't get it lol. I understand when they speak and somewhat translate as I grew up with it but I can't read or write it.

Why did you drop Spanish? It pwns French

How can you not know the hotness that is Keri Hilson? :O

And what were you doing on Nairaland anyway? Ifind it weird yet funny. Nigerians on the internet are always funny :D

I've heard yoruba was sort of...difficult. But you're learning Spanish? I took Spanish four years ago, then when I got to high school I switched to French.

No. Well not without pausing to think which isn't fluent and sounds bad. But since I understand it, it's all good! It's Spanish I'm learning.

"Where have you heard of Yoruba from? (curious)."
Sorry for the late reply bluerang....Yoruba (people, language) first heard about it on nairaland. I became interested in Nigeria a few summers ago, still maintaining that interest. Where did it come from? Well I don't know! :D
