    I was just wondering. I was thinking about asking to get two threads merged, and if people wanted the first post to be by an active member, maybe I'd be able to make a post and put it at the beginning of a thread.

    And you can delete the first post without losing the whole thread, right? In case I ever wanted to undo the new first post.

    I assume so. It's never come up for me, so I haven't delved into it at all.

    Is there a certain reason you're asking?

    Hi there! I have a quick question - is it possible to put a post at the top of a thread if that post was made after the thread was? Or is it necessary for the post to have been made before the first post of the thread?
