I've been more distracted than usual lately.
Maybe you can confirm something for me. I saw a post on tumblr about Type immunities, and there are apparently some new ones. Grass types being immune to Powder and Spore moves, as well as Leech seed. And electric types being immune to paralysis.
I totally see them bring back the Kanto starters back for the anime at some point in XY, especially since they're going to be in the games early on. Now if only Lapras and the rest will come back...I want to see Snorlax return...
I don't care about what the government does, as long as they don't blatantly screw with me.
As for that encryption thing, I don't have to, I have mirage. Like I said, most secure computer, on the planet. Mirage effectively turns my computer, into nothing more than an illusion on the internet. If it detects an incoming connection, it'll trace it to find its origin, if it doesnt like the looks of it, that connection is sent off to some random, fake IP address. Sadly, it only protects against Hacking/Spying, and malware programs that rely on tracing and the like. It cant protect against batch file viruses and the like.
I didn't 'study' computers, I'm a gray-hat hacker, and part of the Hackers Market Association. I used to work on a desktop, a shared family one, but I kept all my stuff hidden. It was able to handle software better... My laptop can't even handle a basic tracing program, so I can't actively trace incoming connections. Only passivley, thanks to mirage.
It's still a damn good idea. But, subscriptions kill games. Thats why I hate MMOs, you have to pay to paly. And since Trading up, is one of the BIGGEST parts of Pokemon Gaming, this subscription to trade, is crap. People play the games in succession, that's how it's always been. When the next ones come out, they trade everything up, so they can either start over, or leave it be until they're in the moode again, or sell it, like I do.
I know a year is a long time, and by then the next games will come out that use the system too. But just how long will this happen? And are they going to have a free trial or something to celebrate the release at least?
I also know that five bucks isnt a lot, but many, many people are tight on cash. And maybe, pokemon is the only game they even have, because they can't afford anything else, and like I said, they get the game for a present.
I saw someone joke about the Pokebank getting hacked while I was researching it, and I fully believe that will happen. Maybe not someone stealing pokemon, but more likely a DDoS9?0 attack out of rage for having to pay for something you've always been able to do, for essentially free.
