I've managed to fix it, think it had something to do with the fact that I'm using Ruby 2.2 instead of 1.8.. Which I'm entirely at fault for using :p

No one else has complained about that, so I'd imagine it's your problem rather than something wrong with Essentials. You can look at the changelog to see if I've altered anything to do with moves.txt.

Did anything significant change in the compiling of moves.dat?
I'm getting this error whenever a new pokemon object is created since I've updated to v16.

Exception `TypeError' at FileMixins.rb:17 - String can't be coerced into Fixnum

Nox Online? No, I'm not deleting that, because it's had many replies.

You imply that it's still the same game, albeit one that has been improved. It therefore belongs in the same thread. Just update the first post and you're fine. One thread per game is the rule, and you already have a thread for it.

Would it possible to delete my thread in the Progressing Games section?
I would like to start a fresh brand new thread in the Games Showcase, my project has had massive improvements since then and new features.

That's really not how you should do it. Just change the zoom in the Settings script section.

So I changed the tile size from 32 to 16 in the resolution_ script and it works perfectly but for some reason the autotiles start flickering, why does this happen?

Can you rename my Pokemon Nox thread to Pokemon Nox Online?

Threads aren't deleted unless it's very specifically requested by the creator (and even then it's not something that's done lightly).

The Progressing Games section only shows all threads that have been active within the last 2 months (because posting in a more inactive thread than that is necroposting and against the rules). The last post in your Nox thread was in November, so it wasn't displayed by default. There are options at the bottom of the section to display more (or fewer) threads if you need to, but in general I don't advise it because of possible necroposting.

You can also look in your profile page and click "Find all threads started by khkramer" (in the Statistics tab), of course.

You are allowed to bump your own game threads, even if it's been inactive for more than 2 months, so long as you're providing some kind of progress report or update or new information (and not just bumping for the sake of it).

Oh I'm sorry, it's because I didn't see the nox thread there anymore, so I thought I had to create a new thread.
I'll update that thread then and ask for a name change.

You're far too impatient. You posted your thread yesterday. The rules say that thread approval can take up to a few days, and to hold off contacting the mod (me) for at least that long.

Now, having said that, what makes Genesis any different to Nox? The change of name? The slightly different style of buildings? That really doesn't sound enough to warrant a whole new thread. Just update the first post of the Nox thread and ask for a thread name change.

You are the moderator of the game development section right?
If so, can you please check the thread I submitted in progressing games.
    Thanks in advance.

Can you please check and maybe approve the thread I submitted to the Progressing Games subforum this afternoon? Thanks in advance.

If I did, I would have replied in your thread. It works for me.
