I'm so confused by palette 6 on Emerald is it designated to the primary tileset (0) or the secondary tileset (1, 2, 3 etc.)?

    Oh...
Then I suppose your post was drowned by the number of new posts which were easy to answer by others...
If you feel like your post was ignored, you are allowed to repost it, though.

I wanna help but I have no idea about what you are asking... =/

I tried... No one replied... No one ever replies to my questions there and also the entire thread is basically filled with REALLY nooby questions and so the questions I want to ask can't be answered by many people.

I seriously have no idea how to edit then.
I just ignore editing them, to be frankly honest with you.

I can only suggest to ask in the Simple Questions thread. =/

Do you know the offset for the palette of all the text colours in Emerald?
My normal method of using VBA's palette viewer to find the colours and then searching them with the first 2 and last 2 numbers swapped around in a hex editor didn't work this time :/
Do you know a better method of finding the palette than this?
Also I noticed that if you look really closely at the text, it uses two colours (a much lighter shade of the colour being used on top to give it more depth). And I also noticed that the palette has lots of sets of two colours (the second often being a much lighter version of the first). Does this mean that if I edit them I will have to make each of those a lighter version of what I change it to?

by normal box, in what command are you referring to?

like as in the generic textbox that's used for everything else.
and don't worry I'll just use the worded command lol.

Regarding the message box thing on simple questions...
is MSG_FIND the equivalent of 0x1
    and MSG_OBTAIN the equivalent of 0x2 ???

Thanks for the help by the way!!

EDIT: also, is 0x0 just the normal box??

Thank you so much for answering my question!!! Now I can actually put scripts into my hack :D although I still have the problem of having no free space (XSE won't compile it because it says there is no free space) even though I've barely started my hack and also I used Chaos Rush's clean-up patch

EDIT: Plus, I checked in a hex editor and there's still tons of free space left...
