Two seasons. First is the best, especially after the Rookie tournament where every fight magically becomes more intense and better. (Though Ippo vs Mashiba and the soon after Ippo vs Sendo in the rookie tournament are great.)

There's two seasons for the anime right? I might watch it, I kind of have a looong list of "Plan to watch" list on MAL. Including Hajime No Ippo it would make 76. ;~; If the OST is amazing then I must watch it. Animes with good OSTs always get me hooked on, like Mirai Nikki or One Piece. ;D

It's amazing. A great combination of comedy and fighting that both compliment each other, and a bit of drama too. You don't have to be into boxing to like it (I watched it because it was boxing, but a lot of fans don't even like boxing apparently), but it would certainly help because the fights are far more enjoyable if you box yourself. (Otherwise it'd possibly feel like they drag.) I recommend just watching the anime because I heard the manga drags on wayy too much. The anime might miss some good parts but otherwise it doesn't feel as long and boxing is better suited to watch than read anyway.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and the OST is BEYOND amazing. Hajime no Ippo wouldn't feel the same without the anime music. (Which is why I'd read the manga with the OST playing. lol)

I know nothing of Tales of games, but here's a boss fight from SMT Nocturne. Also, the first three Persona games (Persona 1, Persona 2 Innocent Sin (only available outside of Japan on the PSP though) and Persona 2 Eternal Punishment) are PS1 games, and Persona 3 and 4 are PS2 games. Persona 1, Persona 2 Innocent Sin, Persona 2 Eternal Punishment (JPN exclusive on PSP) and Persona 3 got an enhanced port on the PSP, whereas Persona 4 has a port on the Vita. (Just got released in the USA two days ago actually.)

Just looked up Persona games, like to give it a try, most of it is on psp D: WHYYYYYYYY. actually just googled some emulators. Think Pokemon with demons. Only more complicated, deeper and just overall actually great JRPG and not as bland as Pokemon. Persona 3 and 4 are the only Persona (or rather, Shin Megami Tensei) games with life sim aspects to them.

    Heard if it. Not interested.

o_o shin megami tensei. I don't really get what that is. I didn't play that game but I think I played the MMO version of it. But it closed down. I don't have any of the current handheld consoles so I can't really play the Persona games unless I emulate them. Although, I did try one of the Persona games. Kinda got the gist of it...it was like some dating simulator with some fighting on the side. Ever played league of legends? :O the current game I'm in a love-hate relationship with. -3-

Wii U looks disappointing, especially since I already have a PS3 and a 360. I'm content with the Wii (which is my favorite home console, just worth noting), so I'm not interested until there are enough exclusive games that interest me. I doubt it'll be as good as the Wii, though. I actually don't have exams at all this year, so I dedicate most of my time to boxing and working out haha.

I don't really play fighters exclusively though.. I'm still into them, but not as much as before.

Debating on whether or not I should get the WiiU. Its most likely I'll only get one game for it...and its monster hunter ultimate. :D I'm currently being distracted from a book report I got to hand in for tomorrow. Other than that yeah waiting for the break. Final exams during the first half of December. ;A; Do you still play MVC3, Street fighter, SSBB, or any of the DBZ games? lol. Noticing you only play fighting games. *_*
