But I do have a specific reason for the inn being there in the first place.

There is this mining sidequest you can access later in the game. You can recruit hikers to work for you and each time they're working, you'll have to return to the inn (by walking there, or through a script's YES/NO option) to take a rest. Once you've done resting there, the workers have finished that task they were doing.

Hey, I just thought of something cool for the hotel in Granaldo City. You can rest there and heal your Pokemon, same as any old PC (at least in my version). But, there's a chance you can find a nugget, ether, hyper potion, elixir, revive, or rare candy (only once) in the bed.

I literally just thought of this. It makes going to the hotel more of a worthwhile experience, in my opinion, so I thought I'd share. :D

I don't have any preliminary plans for the gym when the leader and trainers can be actually fought. So no, it won't be any way special.

And what comes to the last bit of the message, that should have obviously been a funny joke but I didn't get it, hahha! Literally, I do know what you meant by that though.

Don't worry about it, I still have a lot to do too, so take your time with stuff :I. The Gym probably won't be at all like how you design it (unless it's really awesome) so don't worry about finishing that.

Seeing you have gotten most of the other maps already and still waiting for more, I've got to say that there is still more stuff to be done before I'm done.

Not much though! Research center is only lacking a few improvements and after that, I can get working on the gym which is the final piece to the process. Go ahead and delete this message after seeing it if you want to (you know what I'm talking about here....) but I'd like to ask you something though;

Would you like to have the gym in the form you can fight the trainers and the leader? Basically, that won't be possible at this certain point of time (in Dark Energy) but eventually will. It's unlikely I'll bother "completing" the gym already but can think of something more about the trainers and the leader beforehand if you like.

It's nothing similar but for one reason or another, the gym trainers and the leader refuse to challenge you at that point of the game. You'll see for yourself when I let you take a look at DE later.
