Governments really need to start investing in recycled water and cleaner electricity before investing more into military and other things, and ISPs should really start trying to make their service in rural areas a lot better than only giving them a choice of mobile/satellite internet. Though I wonder how good the internet would be once we have robot bodies.
Well, the internet is so ingrained into all of our lives now that it's practically a utility. I wouldn't live somewhere with bad water or electricity, and the same goes for the internet. People will need to start viewing it as a utility before the quality of service ever becomes an active concern for ISPs.
I can say the same. I would rather live in a place with decent to very good speeds since I like to stay up to date on some TV shows and I don't want to have to wait 5+ hours just to do so, though the prices would also have to be low.
