Yeah saw that episode, it was awesome. They're definitely in the same situation, though unlike Peggy, MegamanDX doesn't realize it's just a hobby.

MegamanDX's efforts to making his fan game without experience reminds of this one episode of King of the Hill where Peggy was criticized of her art, which was of propane, and the fact that she never went to art class, yet her art was loved by others at Arlon in the end.

Your assumptions are correct, as he told me himself that he is child-like due to not acting his age in terms of mature content.

Yeah, it's that kind of personal stuff he should leave out alone, cause it just seems like he's saying all of that so people will stop correcting him, which if his mindset was right, he should be mentally old enough to realize the world isn't about you, and that crap in the world happens. Yeah, he has problems, but again with what Theik said, he must be naive and still mentally child-like if he thinks he's the only one in the world that's got it bad. The whole government thing reminds me of Dale Gribble on King of the Hill as a sidenote, and it's clear he's messed up.

I've first met him on Bulbagarden Forums, and both of us like crossover games. Of course, his version of Pokemon Battle Network was not what I envisioned. At first I thought he wanted to make a simple fan game starring Pokemon characters and Megaman EXE characters, but his story isn't going anywhere and makes little sense, as you guys said. I'm trying not to be too hard on him when he told me the horrible life he's going through (he's being watched by the government due to his ideals in which he cannot trust our government, his counseler will not help him out on getting to programming class because she still thinks he's inexperienced despite being self-taught from intro to computers, and he's close to living in poverty with his mother). Now he's got an e-mail from a Californian fire prevention group threatening him to pay up before a certain date or else they'll take his stuff away. He truly wants to make his dream come true, but changing the Pokemon formula isn't the way to go because "if it ain't broken, don't fix it." No matter how many examples I give to him on why it's bad to change a working formula, he becomes a brick wall.

So, what's up with you and MegamanDX? Like do you actually know him personally or what? I get you're trying to be cool and all by defending him, but speedtyping or not, his grammar really is the level of an 11yr old, and there's no excuse for that. Not to mention he does keep on arguing a case that doesn't make sense, instead of just rewording things like suggested by users on this site that actually know what they're talking about when developing games. It really makes him look more naive than we already know he is, and that personal stuff you mentioned to Theik about him being upset, yeah naive.
