Well, with a VM, you are going to have less power and stability than if it was bootcamped. VMs are great, but I never liked them for programming. I have used VS for a while and it has never really functioned well in a VM.
Bootcamp is the way to go really, but you can adjust the resolution, surely!
Just wondering what it was like. I need to run Windows for university (Visual Studio) and was wondering if boot camp or a virtual machine was a better solution. As my needs are for literally programming on Visual Studio, I'll run a virtual machine. I used Boot Camp today as a quick test and I didn't like it. The resolution on my retina display was too big - everything looked so small!
