Don't worry, you're probably already more skilled than the majority of people in Pokemon hacking community (a lot of people don't even know anything about pointers!). Out of curiosity, what base-ROM are you using, RBY or GSC?
Eh, Wood is progressing really slowly (I also found a glitch, yesterday). I might think to add the newer pokemons only in a later version (I mean to release a first beta with only the usual pokedex/mon) because expanding all the datas (cries, base stats, evos, movesets, expanding moves to add new ones, etc.) is really a pain and will take a lot if time. It's still in progress, nonetheless.
Btw, I already have a concept for my hack. Still ASM drive me crazy. I try editing the intro to make it load a trainer sprite instead of the marill sprite. I've found the offset of Oak ASM script, but somewhat could not find the marill one... Odd...
You know, IIMarckus going to rearrange the whole Skeetendo board?
I don't know what he think, but tutorial section would be useful if he make it. Megamap really make things more confusing with the map arrange by mapbank and the backward pointer in the connection data
Of course I'm fine. I will start a hack soon after i know how ASM work. I spend my time to learn ASM while improving my spriting skill. Digging more informations in old forums, reading old threads, and make the ROM locked every time i try to change something with ASM. Well, it's all fun, with exception of reading old thread = boring... Haha
Hi! Of course I remember, I'm fine thanks for asking.
I haven't worked on Wood lately, mainly because I had not so much free time; anyway lately I've focused more on building tools to speed up future hacking tasks (for instance, a tool that extract ASM code in RGBDS format, so I don't have to disassemble one instruction per time).
I still have to refine RTC, but I will soon.
