    Yeah it makes me wonder if there are any other things named after Irish things - any Vist or um....Full Frontal? XD

    Oh wow. That actually sounds pretty accurate. I think that's it! That's awesome! :D
    I mean the pronunciation is definitely different (but makes the character sound cooler- "Banajer"). That's so cool, though, Irish town names in an anime- sweet! :D

    Wikipedia says "Banagher held an important strategic position on the River Shannon and was one of the few crossing points between the provinces of Leinster and Connacht", which kinda matches cause Banagher the character is kind of like the messenger between two opposing teams and he's the only one who can do what he does? Sooo, maybe. XD

    It could well be that- though I don't think the "Banagher" here isn't based on something military-ish :P (Not that I know what it's based on, but I just have a feeling it's not that.)

    Though the other day, I heard of some Irish guy working on Spongebob Squarepants, and he managed to get his hometown mentioned at a bus stop in an episode.
    ...and now I've thought of that, the likelihood that someone from Banagher landed an important enough role in Gundam's production to name a character after it is absolutely preposterous. D:

    Yeah, we're wondering if the character's name is based on it since according to Wikipedia it was important in military...things and Gundam is military-like xD;

    Oh, well it'd be a bit far away from Dublin, haha. A couple hours at least- it's in County Offaly, which is in the midlands- Dublin is one of the easternmost counties in Ireland, so yeah, probably wouldn't be on his way anywhere, haha. No harm in telling him about it, I guess :D

    Really? My bf is a big Unicorn fan and he's going to Dublin soon! I shall tell him to visit it. :3

    Well, that's understandable- it's a tiny town that is relatively unimportant. And it's in Ireland, so... you know. Word doesn't get out of Ireland, usually. :D

    Thanks for letting me know! :D I looked it up and found out they're pronounced totally differently- "Banna-her" is how you pronounce the name of the town. But still, cool- thanks! :P

    It's the name of the character that's in my sig, it's from Gundam Unicorn :3

    Hey, do you mind if I ask what your usertitle means? I come from a place called Banagher, and I've never heard of it in any other context- just curious is all :)
