I mean I live pretty close (it took me half an hour to get in and an hour to get out driving) so I definitely plan on going in again and looking at something different. Also maybe driving out to the nearest train line because I think parking there would be much cheaper, hahaha.
I live in Chicago! Downtown is really nice and I spent my fair share of time around Millennium Park when I lived about a 10 minute walk away (my dorm was downtown). If you ever get to visit again, I recommend trying some of the neighborhoods. Wicker Park is more hipster/trendy but has a lot of cool shops and Lakeview is beautiful with ALL THE GOOD FOOD. I'm glad you liked it :) The only other major city I've been to in the states is LA, so I'm interested to see NYC/Philly too.
I just went into downtown Chicago for the first time today!! I just went around Millennium Park but I loooved it. I'm originally from New Jersey so I have lots of Philly/NYC experience and it's very different. But good!
oh well that's not too bad then :'D hahaha that's awesome! SUPER TWIST.
chicago schools are really nice because it's legit in the city so there's a lot of stuff to do. and after living in cornfields for 19 years, i'm ready for a change :) and you're from philadelphia? welcome to the lots of grass and corn that is the midwest :D that's cool, my brother is actually looking to go to school over there too.
Once I get into my major, it won't be much math, just a lot of programming. xD And wow, that's super trippy, because my boyfriend was a major in Physics in the Honors program to begin with. o____o; He switched sophomore year to Philo though, so maybe not. OR MAYBE YOU KNOW MY BOYFRIEND WHAT A TWIST
Sounds like a good plan :3 I don't know anything about Chicago schools, just Philadelphia cause that's where I'm from. :'3
oooh that sounds tricky lol but only because i'm not a big math fan, so props! haha yeah, he's in honors and in physics, but who knows! that would be really funny though. and I'm transferring to a college in chicago this fall :) just finishing up the spring and summer term at community college first~
Computer engineering (: Also, hm...my boyfriend is a sophomore, he might have known him if he was in the honors program or is a philosophy major or something XD Mayyyybe. What colleges are you looking at, or not yet?
yeah haha, he's a sophomore :P and that's awesome, I like schools like that more than all party schools or all study, no play schools. the academics can't be too easy, but you still wanna have fun :) I don't remember if you mentioned in the college thread or not, but do you know what you're studying?
