    Pidgey=good point. Houndour=ummm, i'm not sure if you actually get one..., but i used a charmelon to get past it. But i mean how about those who are fans of totodile? or mudkips? it'll be tough. and pidgeys will die easily when training. it's hard-ish. but you do have a point. oh and a suggestion: is there a way to remove your loss of money during your first battle? it takes like 3 tries to take that guy down.

    A Pidgey with Gust or a Houndour with Ember easily tears down the first gym leader. I was of the opinion that it was too easy actually.

    hey dude. tested pokemon rose. nice, you were right, it did kill boredom! :DD Little suggestion though. The first gym leader is a bit too hard, why not put more trainers round the path to the third city to train em better (the sunkern, ledyba, etc. shave you only 30 exp, not enough to make your pokemon strong enough).
