September 14th, 2009 8:15 AMBay AlexisonOh, I see. ._. I might still read it though. I'm looking for good mangas to read. XD
Don't worry about it. Read when you feel like it.
September 13th, 2009 10:16 PMMisheard WhisperIt is a nice image, but the irony is that it's from an incredibly violent, gory, R-18 manga called Battle Royale. The two in the picture are the main protagonists, and it's one of the most touching moments in the series.
And wow, I still need to read that story you linked me to. Eesh. *feels guilty for not doing so earlier*
September 13th, 2009 10:00 PMBay AlexisonHave to ask, if that avatar is from a manga, what might that be from? ; That image does look nice.
July 28th, 2009 12:06 AMMisheard WhisperWeird is good. I'm weird. Thanks for that, I'll read it soon. *Tropers leave* Suck on that! I Did The Research! /endrandom. So again, thanks. It looks like it's been a while since SSS posted, so I'll tell you what I think in a VM/PM. =D
*looks around furtively*

Here's the one shot. :D Warning though, it's totally weirdddddddd! :O
July 5th, 2009 10:05 PMMisheard WhisperOK, I'll wait. *waits*
Have you finished it yet?
j/k. *makes mental note*
July 5th, 2009 10:02 PMBay AlexisonCan't wait to see how that goes. XD
And, probably it's not a good idea to read The Last Rocket until I get the rewritten version posted, which will be...soonish. :X
July 5th, 2009 9:57 PMMisheard WhisperI need to read the Last Rocket . . .
And my MCs' parents are like that latter set. Especially Alexis'. Haley's gonna have to convince Tyson and Alexis' parents that it's a good idea.
July 5th, 2009 9:52 PMBay AlexisonTotal agreement on the evil team thing. Haha, my 7k actually as a grunt killing a ten year old for going against Team Rocket. XD For the most part though, the ten year olds should be smart enough to not go against them.
Quote:Seriously, if I was Delia Ketchum, and for some reason had let Ash go off to be a Pokemon Master, I would have brought him back home straight after Mewtwo Strikes Back and never let him leave the house again.
Let's just say for the most part in the Pokemon world most parents are fine with their kids going on their Pokemon journey, but there are some that don't, considering the games don't show those type of parents.
July 5th, 2009 9:02 PMMisheard WhisperI suppose you're right. It is possible. It's just that too many OTs have what I call the "Satoshi Complex". They're irritatingly immature and carefree, they have parents that apparently don't care, and nothing ever happens to them. They never get mugged, they never run into much serious trouble, and when they do (evil team much?) they blow it off with little trouble, occasionally dying and coming back in the process. Seriously, if I was Delia Ketchum, and for some reason had let Ash go off to be a Pokemon Master, I would have brought him back home straight after Mewtwo Strikes Back and never let him leave the house again. I'm in high school, and my parents are unsure about leaving me at home alone for an evening.
This is of course assuming that Pokemon characters are human like us. If they are some form of carbon-copy race with no parental instincts whatsoever, the point is moot.
July 5th, 2009 8:52 PMBay AlexisonHaha, nice that my review has been reviewed. XD
Well, in the Pokemon world people actually believe ten year olds are capable of going to the world on their own with a fire breathing monster. That's the way it is. Don't say the people in the Pokemon world are nuts as it's like saying Portugal is nuts for having the drinking age be sixteen (have one Portugal friend :X). Different people from different places think different things.
...Sorry for going all ranty like that. XD I get a bit fed up that when someone says, "ten year olds aren't experienced enough!" and you aren't the first one. To tell you the truth, I think ten year olds are capable of traveling, even with not too much experience. Boy/Girl Scouts, yeah? XD Then again, I was never in that. ; Meh, in the end I won't be bothered by it that much. This is just my opinion and the characters' development will be more important.
June 19th, 2009 10:33 PMMisheard WhisperThen well done to you for being in the .3% (SDE estimate) of reviewers who see past the obvious. And thank you!
June 19th, 2009 10:30 PMBay AlexisonI just want to say nice addition to the guide too. :3
Funny you should mention the part about purpose because I was reading a fic like that. Okay, so I'm a judge for this one shot contest at Serebii and I got this one entry which is short and has no plot. However, when I reviewed, I didn't write, "Too short, no action, last place." Instead, I reread it a couple more times to get what kind of purpose that writer did for the story and after I realized that, it made me love the one shot more, actually. I then went and review how the concept is very original and I would never thought of that before.
