Oh man, I remember reading Chris's quote somewhere. Yes, I get really nervous how someone will react to my story. I would send my stories to my betas and they would offer a lot of suggestions on improvement. At first I would be like, "I suck D:", but then later on I get onto editing and the stories are much better thanks to them.
I'm beginning to think that the quote I have by Chris Colfer is true: "I hope to write some day and that's even more terrifying than performing. You don't just entertain the audience, you give them little bits of your soul." It always scary to see how someone will react to your story, especially if you put so much work into it.
Hey, Astinus! I checked your replies in the Share Your Writing Thread and I want to let you know I too get nervous whenever some replies to my writing. Nice to see you're getting something written, though! *hugs*
I'm doing good. Been busy with real life stuff and distracted with other fandoms (Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire one of my new ones, haha). Getting back to playing Pokemon games, started Black 2 a couple days ago. Have Oshawott, Rilou, and Sewaddle on my team at the moment, lol. You doing good too?
Aw, you could have let me know you were about to redo the Fanfiction Index ( I was originally going to plan to update it later today, lol). D: It is overdo for a makeover, though. XD So yeah, no hard feelings.
I pretty much just pulled it out of my ass now, because I remembered the whole writing challenge thing that we had discussed before. Like when we were all thinking of ideas to get FF&W more active, and I remember mentioning the "choose a word goal and try to hit it in a month" challenge and people liked it. So I mentioned it today and just came up with the title for it.
But yeah, I don't remember the exact rotation, but it should be coming up soon in our round of new events to try to gain activity.
