Okay. I hate myself. Let me just get that out of the way.
I totally misread the rules and have been working my ass off on Fennekin's evolutionary line, not Chespin's. I had just finished everything and was about to send my entry into Fenneking when I re-read the rules and realized I ****ed up.
I'm so sorry to have wasted your time, I am dropping out of the contest.

Just letting you know I'm turning my work in as is. I never got around to making a black and white piece, and since Fenneking didn't get back to you I might as well just go by the original set of rules. Good luck to you!

And btw, Fenneking never got back to me about the color requirement, so I ended up coloring my piece anyway. I saved a black and white version of it too though, just in case. So as long as you have two versions, you'll be save for the rules.

Thanks for letting me know- I've already colored my piece, though. That said, I was this close to VMing you to just drop out and hand you the trophy xD Mine looks god awful, I think, but I worked really hard on it. I guess I wouldn't mind redoing them in black and white, though...to ensure a fair battle.

I haven't submitting my entry for the art battle yet. ;w; But hopefully you haven't either! Considering that it's just you and I, I decided to message Fenneking to see if he's willing to drop the color requirement for us! I figured it would be silly to try to force color into our pieces if we're already well matched in medium, you know?

Just so you know, I talked to Dero and Fenneking and the art battle is still on! I wasn't sure if it was still going to happen since no one else entered and I couldn't get in touch with Fenneking at first, but yeah, it's still happening and the entry deadline is still on the 21st.
Looks like it's going to be a one-on-one battle between you and I. >;D
