Things are going fine for me right now. Just 8 more days till my birthday!

I'm doing pretty well, I'm keeping myself occupied with some of my older anime DVD's xD

There were just so many things that could have been improved in the remakes that weren't corrected... it seemed like a lazy effort to make money from my perspective.

I do wish I had cable TV here, and that the bathroom fixtures didn't have so much rust, but otherwise it's fine. If I was gonna be here for a long time, I'd probably want somewhere better, but since I'm supposed to be moving again in about six months or so, I can live with it. Plus it helps that I can eat/sleep/go online whenever I want to.

Fortunately I don't run into that guy too much... he's nice enough, but the first time he introduced himself to me, he asked if I wanted some beer... and this was at 10 in the morning xD And last time we spoke he asked me for money for breakfast. Seems odd that he'd have enough money for beer but not for meals xD

Well... They were interesting improvements though, although you didn't enjoy them... Each to their own. Except the Pokéathlon I didn't enjoy them that much neither honestly.

I didn't like them too much... besides Leaf not being included, the Pokemon following you thing was pointless, the levels were still too low, I didn't care for the Pokeathlon, and they didn't do a thing to make Team Rocket any stronger. And not much new was added that was actually worth it. I sold that game months ago, and I think I'll stick with Crystal if I need to play a 2nd gen game xD

Yep, sure thing I'll examine it with a critical eye and let you know my thoughts on it. It's not gonna be till November, since I'm not even buying it till my birthday, though.

HG/SS were great Even though they could never replace GSC. I don't know why, they're supposed to be better, they've all to be better, but they aren't. Maybe I say that because of nostalgia, but it's how I feel.

Yeah, he's got enough saved to buy one plus the big game guide book, and he's working to put enough away for the second. Don't know why he needs both, but... Well, that kinda sucks, but given how disappointed I was with HG/SS and B/W, I can't blame him... B2/W2 are my "last chance" games... if I'm not happy with them, no more Pokemon games for me either.

Oh, and exciting news! I'M GETTING MY OWN PLACE! It's a small apartment in the small town close to where my parents live. It's not where I plan on living for too long, but it'll do for now. I put myself on a waiting list to move back to Charlotte, North Carolina, so as soon as they find me a place down there I'll be moving again. I'm officially moving Monday, so I'll probably be busy that day.

And it's a small town, but at least there's more to do than way out in the country xD

Join the club I just don't think that the new games really being anything new to the table. And there's plenty that I don't like about them. But if I get enough birthday money I might just go ahead and get them anyway. Besides, my brother is going to be buying both games, so he can tell me if they're any good

Well, they're for GameCube, and you can play GameCube games on the Wii... the bigger problem would be finding the games. They're 7+ years old and definitely out of print now. I only wish you could play as a girl character in those games - otherwise they'd be my favorite games in the entire franchise

It's probably because I rarely ate out as a kid, and still don't now that I'm back home. Eating out was a special event, so maybe that's why it always tasted better. Or maybe it's because we eat mostly the same stuff all the time. Or maybe I really am just that weird. After all, I came up with a trainer like Lisa

Maybe. My allergies have been known to keep me up at night, and because of that I end up taking long naps during the afternoon. I should try watching shows maybe at night when I can't sleep anyway, lol

It's more or less to keep people from talking about subjects that are old and outdated. If it's a topic that someone really wants to discuss again, they can always create a new thread for it if the old one has gone inactive.

Oh yeah, my parents ae back from their vacation now. It's gotten a bit tougher since I can't microwave my midnight snacks anymore without waking them up - and they get mad when they get woken up.

And one of their hotel rooms on their trip had a filthy, nasty bathtub. I hope my hotel room next month doesn't have a tub that disgusting...
