I definitely agree, though it seems much messier in my head than it actually is XD; I'll just go make the thread though, no use sitting around thinking too hard about it; I'm sure the staff can give their input since they know the forums on a better level~
I think that most writers don't just write, like how most artists don't solely draw, paint, whatever. A lot of people dip their toes in a lot of different ponds, so if there are enough people like that, then a DCC could bring that all together, ya know? And besides, game devs should be into some sort of writing, because games need a plot, too! Games need practically everything, from spriting (concept designs) to a story to tell.
FF&W isn't as active either :c Eh, there isn't a forum for the creation and sharing of music. I guess that would be fine as long as there isn't discussion about artists or something? So complicated >o<
I'm just thinking if it'd work since writers may not be interested in art, game devs might not be into writing/RPing and such... so it might be a double-edged sword >:
kind of sad to browse through creative sections and see that AG seems to be the least active XD; There's also the issue of music, would it not be allowed to be talked about in the creative DCC since music goes into Culture and Media, which isn't part of the creative board? bleh q_q
Ah, I wonder if it is possible. It sounds like it could, but I haven't even heard of it happen, so there's no evidence that it could happen D: It would awesome if there was one, though. Linked across all the subforums... We should ask an admin or something :O
Haha yeah, Other/General Chat is basically the "talk about anything" section, so even discussions about art/writing/etc are talked about in there, which is kind of sad but I can see why it happens XD; A creative DCC seems really cool actually, though then there's the issue of where to put it since there's so many creative boards... now that I think of it, I wonder if it's possible to "link" a thread across sections? So the same thread would show in, say, FF&W, RPing, and Art Gallery >:
