Looks like we relate to each other's problems fairly well xP I don't really know what goes on with when that happens; pretty much every form of anxiety leaves and I can socialize without problems. Otherwise, I tend to stumble over my words a lot.
Ah. I'm somewhat of a weird case when I travel to big cities. When I went to Toronto with my family last summer, all I wanted to do was visit places. I'm shy and quiet around strangers usually, but I really enjoyed meeting new people who were out and about; like an inner social butterfly or something.
Both of my parents work at a city that's about a 1 hour drive away, so yeah. At winter it gets as cold as -40 degrees Celsius too. I live about 5km from the downtown area, so it would be tough walking back and forth everyday after school.
That's still quite a big place! There's definitely something waiting for you there, trust me On the other hand, I live in a small town with less than 3,000 residents, so competition is fierce. I become eligible for a driver's exam next month, so I'll probably deal with that first.
NYC.. but I'm in Staten Island which is a lot quieter than the other NYC boroughs. Still plenty of opportunities here though! That sounds like a good plan, I almost forgot you were in high school hahaha.
Now that you mention it, I realized that I enjoy work that involves moving around lots; still in high-school so probably can't be too picky. Cash registers are okay yet terrifying, because introvert Maybe I'll check out if the local construction supply store is hiring :o
I've had interviews but nothing pops out yet. =( Some were in bad areas, others had low pay/bad benefits, etc etc so I'm trying to find something at least halfway decent lmao. what are you looking for?
