Here we go again with that timeline crisis, haha.

Still think it's funny how nobody is able to come up with a real argument favoring RSE and FrLg happening together other than 'Need proof? Bulbapedia says so!' or 'you can directly trade', the latter of which has since been broken by B2W2.

Exactly; Trading, etc. has almost always been retconned(which it needs to be in cases) so it doesn't mean a thing really. B2W2 really is a great con but it's like they just ignore it and go back to the whole trading thing, haha.

I see this stuff every now and then - I'm not convinced that there's a link. And you can see there's no concrete argument, not when you're bringing up small things like how you can trade simultaneously between FR/LG and R/S/E without any implied time (B2/W2 is the perfect counterpoint).

Unless there was in-game text suggesting the time, there's no evidence. Fullstop.

And if these games get a remake in the X/Y generation, then what?

Don't you love the constant false placement of Gen III in the timeline, seeing as it really has no definite place? I'm still finding it enjoyable. XD

It's nice to find the occasional person who agrees on the matter.
