I didn't really mind it, because it was shown to be harmless and someone always dragged him away before it went on too much, especially if the girl was getting a bit creeped out. It was also fairly implicit that Brock would have absolutely no idea what to do with a woman if one agreed to go out with him. However, the running gag did get quite stale over time and by DP it was ridiculously over-the-top. Cilan's relentless taste metaphors and enthusiasm for many things may irk some, but it at least throws some variables into the mix.

I don't know about you, but the one thing that I really hate about Brock is his womanizing shenanigans. That disgusted me beyond belief, almost to the point that I was going to say, "Good Riddance," to him once he left Ash.

I'm thankful that Cilan doesn't have that trait.

I adore them both and think both have their merits and flaws, but as it stands Cilan has more potential than Brock. He's also more likeable to me on a personal level- where I equated Brock to like... my friend's older brother, I think of Cilan more like a friend. Less removed, you know?

Do you think Cilan is better than Brock??

Meh. It's not about me, really. It's about the kid. I don't think I'd be a good person to be responsible for another human's development and view of the world. I'd rather just be a babysitter/secondary adult for my nieces and nephews and give them another reference point for adult life/philosophy.

    I should've seen that coming...

Even so, I would think that you wouldn't like the idea of conceiving a child, so...

Nah. Effort, time, and money. I don't really wanna devote 18 years of my life to being responsible for another human's development. I'll have plenty nieces and nephews to spoil.

Ah well. Would you like to have children for yourself one day?

Nah I'm cool with being lazy. I do what needs to be done with the least amount of effort and then I can go do what I'm interested in. Seems like a good life to me. No need to change~

Now, the only thing that you'll have to deal with, At least from what I'm getting, is your laziness. Deal with that, & everything else will fall in place.

Because all I want in life is for men to look at me, yeah.

Yeah, it wouldn't hurt - it'll likely help you more often than not, as by then, those men will be turning their heads towards you.

Believe me, I know. I just happen to be attractive, despite being kind of unhealthily overweight. Me losing ~30lbs wouldn't hurt anything, but I'm lazy and attractive as I am so nbd.

You'd be surprised how many girls in your age group that are at least uneasy with their bodies, even if they are at a healthy weight.
