Yeah it depends on the event. For that kind of event you can participate in if you offer your own shinies. Just basically work out a system that doesn't enable cheating so everyone gets a fair share of shinies, basically. That's if you're chosen, though!

Hello! I just opened the forums and found out of the Get-Together for the 10th Anniversary. Well, I'd like to volunteer for the Shiny Pokemon Raffle, but...can I ask...what I'll actually be in charge of if I really do get chosen to host it? And for hosts, can they actually follow the event that they're hosting? Sorry if this would bug you, but I just want to know, because that looks fun...and I'd be happy to take part!

Okay let's say you have a Choice Scarf Rotom-W with Trick and Volt Switch + Pain Split/Hydro Pump.
If you used Hydro Pump on the opponent, then next turn you can't Volt Switch out. If you used Volt Switch on the opponent on your first turn on the switch in, that's what you'll be locked into, if that makes sense.

I'd like to ask something...
If a Pokemon that has U-turn/Volt Switch were to be locked into a move by a Choice item, I can't use U-turn, right? I think it's yes...but the PO battle system says otherwise.
