Don't give up, keep trying! I know from experience RNG can be frustrating but once you get it it's not too bad then. If the IVs match then that means you hit the right seed. I'm sure you'll get it eventually.
Hello again! I might need a little more help. I'm in the last room of victory road, and I did all the seed stuf and time stuff and blah blah blah... I was 100% sure I hit my seed, the Chatot pitches were the exact same as the ones on the RNG reporter. My starting frame was 47 and my target frame was 103. I switched summaries 64 times, and I was on the same frame as my shiny target. (It was at 103, I could even hear that the Chatot pitch was the same as the one on the RNG reporter for frame 103) I hit Sweet Scent, and the Durant I found wasn't shiny. Am I doing anything wrong?
The original ds. It was nicknamed the ds phat. It's the easiest to rng on. Depending on which system you're using, you have to start the game at different times. I was making sure you're starting at the right time on your system you're using. Victory Road has no NPCs if you're looking for a place.
Try catching a pokemon without doing any chatters to see what your actual starting frame is. NPCs can shift your frame from the frame rng reporter gives you. You have to find the shifted starting frame to then know how many chatters you need to do. Are you using a ds phat?
Hey, I'm having some trouble RNGing. I used the time finder and RNG reporter to find a seed, frame, shiny pokemon and time to catch it, and it said my initial starting frame was 41 and my shiny frame was 113. So I saved with my false swiper, sweet scenter, and two chatots in Mistraldon Cave, and changed the DS time to the same time on the time finder. I switched between the two Chatots (counting when I hit summary) 72 times, and I get different results every time. Am I doing something wrong?
