Ugh moving sucks! I moved into a new apartment a few months ago and good god that was a chore. Sorry to hear about previous crappy job! :[ finally got myself a cashiering job at Whole Foods. Not very glamorous but the pay is nice and the people are great. Also good benefits, too.
And I've been pretty ok! Stress about money of course cuz even if you get paid decently, everything is too damn expensive lmao. But really I'm all good beyond that little bit.
omg. D: that sucks. Yeah, the late spring and summer seasons are always rough and I wish I could find something that fit decently location-wise at the very least.. seems like whatever offers I get are goodness knows where, lol.
you can do it too. I exaggerate and sometimes even lie on my resume without shame. Gotta find that work somehow aaaa.
I feel you. I got fired from the salon at the worst time imaginable. I got fire in April, and middle of spring to end of summer the job market is just nonexistent. It's ridiculius. So for now I'm looking at other service places, since I do have a ton of customer service training. I'm hopeful, though! And you stay peppy about it, too! Fake it till Ya make it if you have to! My grandpa got his first ever job by pretending he was a master welder, the guy looked at my 14 year old grandpa and was like "...look, pass the test and I'll hire you." My grandpa passed and was with the company as one of the few master welder a for 50 years. :3
So you can do it!!
