I'm gonna reply to your blog comment here because why not
Where on Earth do you live? 3DS's are 169,99$ (the Dream Team one with the XL was this price last week, too, at The Source) in Canada. I picked up my Pearl Pink one earlier this month for 125,95$, too.
I'm in the US, particularly Missouri. Usually 3DS XLs are 199.99 here , but since Toys R Us was having sale, it was only $179.99. And yup the 2DS looks God awful, I wanted to stray away from one as much as possible.
Yeah I didn't ask my dad to do anything for me on prom night. Or graduation cause I didn't graduate with my class. I graduated a year and a half after everyone else in my class. We did celebrate when I did get my diploma though it wasn't much, just a dinner at diner. (Steak n Shake, probably don't have any where you live.)
My mom did it because I asked her. She wouldn't have done anything otherwise. Money, cards... None of that. Everyone else was getting something special, so I felt really bad when I had to ask for the same treatment graduating is a big deal IMO even if it's secondary; how many kids actually complete secondary nowadays? There's such a high drop-out rate... I had left HS on one occasion, too, so going back and getting a high average is even rarer. She should've been more thrilled lol
Yeah that was why I didn't go to mind to expensive. I don't mind the loud music, I've been to a couple parties with loud music so maybe I'm used to it. It's funny when at somewhere like that, I don't loud music, but anywhere else I like my music at a moderate volume. That sounds fun, my dad didn't so anything for me.
