May 27th, 2013 05:43 PMMockingjayhuh. I'll hit you with a request.
May 27th, 2013 02:39 PMThe Prince of Sweet Sorrowraymav3rick is my Skype. Add me, if you'd like.
April 19th, 2013 06:01 PMMockingjay.. and I'm not sure how to respond to that, so maybe that's que to drop the conversation.
April 19th, 2013 10:21 AMThe Prince of Sweet Sorrowpotatoes.
April 19th, 2013 05:29 AMMockingjayI remember you mentioning that. It is unfortunate that humans behave in such ways.
Hm, since it is Friday, I get to play Golden Sun this afternoon..
April 19th, 2013 03:48 AMThe Prince of Sweet SorrowYeah, I know, trees burn all the time here in Greece. Somebody's setting the forests on fire.
April 19th, 2013 03:29 AMMockingjayYeah, that's the point. I've been disappointed countless times by my plants dying because they don't have the longest of lives, but trees grow for a long time. I was planning on planting her somewhere stable in a few years, when she's big enough. There should be more trees in the world, y'know?
Hahah, I meant I don't have a specific style when it comes to drawing. My drawings are out there, they're different each time, I think. I don't have this one thing I stick to, you know? Some people do, but I don't think I do.
April 18th, 2013 10:44 PMThe Prince of Sweet SorrowWon't this plant need a long time to grow fully?
Bullcrap, everybody has a style.
April 18th, 2013 01:19 PMMockingjaySpoiler:
Meh, I don't have a style. I don't draw much, mostly plant doodles now if anything. And of course, that doesn't surprise me really
Hmm. I personally would pick Spanish maybe, or French, or Italian... hmm.
April 18th, 2013 11:01 AMThe Prince of Sweet Sorrow*shrug* go on
I liked yours too. He's the villain, yeah. Doesn't he look like it? He's Ingvar, the only evil guy from the previous fic Shango couldn't kill. xD
You'll find out in time, I guess. Don't rush your choice, nor listen to anybody regarding that matter... I regret ever trying to get a degree on a third language. I liked spanish, but I would never have chosen to learn by myself.
April 18th, 2013 06:26 AMMockingjayIt's a White Oak sapling. She's probably around a month old now. I've grown her from a little sprout I found next to the dorm. I can show you a picture, if you'd like. :D
Sharp edges are nice. I really really do like your style, Ray. XD And I think I recall, but not so well. Is he a "bad guy," then?
Hm, I can only relate to me trying to learn Latin, though our teacher isn't too keen on us pronouncing, it's more reading and translating. I enjoy it though, and one day I want to learn another language. Not sure which, though.
April 17th, 2013 11:14 PMThe Prince of Sweet SorrowYour tree? What kind of tree?
Thank you, I plan to.
Aye, I've always liked drawing sharp edges and curves. And indeed he is a Beartic, his beard grows massive behind his head to form some sort of ice crown. He is fierce and a fearsome commander, inspired by Genghis Khan of the Mongols... I've told you about the Mongols, do you remember? In the real world, they were the ones to destroy the original Assassin Order (or, well, Hashashin) back in middle ages
Nooo, on the contrary, it's very easy, that's how I managed to learn the basics from video games. I always liked it, even when I couldn't understand a word. I remember pronouncing 'fire' like... 'f-ee-r-eh', the way you'd say it in greek. lol
April 17th, 2013 01:35 PMMockingjayShe did have a lot of kids, after all. XD But the ones captured were older, and I feel like one of them was 9ish. I named my tree after Caterina, am I obsessed?
Aw, sad to see Connor go, kinda. Y'know, I really would check it all out, but I don't have the time right now, ya see. I know what you write is interesting, though, and I acknowledge your skills :P I hope you improve even further.
As for the drawing, as usual, I really like it. Your style, something about it -- whatever it is, intrigues me.. maybe it's the sharpness. I find a lot of the times, you have pointy edges. Curves and circles bring a lighter, cutesy appearance to art, but these spikes on what I think is a ... Beartic? .. makes him look fierce. :B
I can't imagine how it must be to play a game in another language, and I will never try it personally. But I think that's really interesting. English is.. hard to learn, from what I'm understanding.
April 17th, 2013 04:47 AMThe Prince of Sweet SorrowThat's the kind of logic I admire. Why mourn for a dead new born kid when you can make more? xD jk
I'll remove that bastard! And I don't know if it's great or not, I only have one opinion on it so far, but it's a quiet one, so I don't really know. Here's a drawing of the villain of the fic.
Strange as it seems, me and my friend understood a lot from the games even though we didn't understand much of english. They were magic, these years when I learned how to english from games like Pokemon or GS.
April 17th, 2013 04:03 AMMockingjayI not only liked her for her attractiveness, but also for her bad-assery. "Go on! Take my kids! I have the instrument to make more!"
I'm trying to read what you've said, but Connor is getting in the way again XD. I think I get what you're saying, though. All that truly matters is that you like it, though. But if you're trying to make it more enjoyable... well, I feel like it must be great.
I'm glad I didn't play Golden Sun as a child, I surely would have been super confused. Heck, I'm sorta confused now! I don't think I would have appreciated it as much. I have a friend who loves the games, and he and I discuss them a lot. "Make the boys do it!" "Isaac! Garet! Don't die!"
