You will not believe this, but at a previous forum I was at, Your user title was a nickname of mine under a previous name on a different forum. I was known as "Awesome Possum" Rocket Sparkster. Memories...
Cool. I have a Final Fantasy game for my ipod. Surprisingly lengthy for an app, and almost the price of a regular video game. It's cool because the animation style resembles old Final Fantasy games, but the graphics are quite clean too.
A friend of mine got me watching Earthbound, then Mother 3. He's desperate for me to play both, but I never have time to do so, too busy. I do like my rpg games, but I like them even more if you can play as the enemies you face, or somehow get them on your team (like pokemon)
I can't understand most games being really expensive. It's like, any of the Mario games, starting from New Super Mario Bros and New Super Mario Bros Wii, has not made a drop in price, yet those games have been out a LONG time.
I did manage to find a retro shop about 15 miles away from where I live, so I might see what is in there, hopefully PS1 stuff. I really hope that they got Crash Team Racing in. I know they even have some games from the old NES. Also, $225 for Earthbound?! Insane.
I'm doing alright. I just found out that some old games are really expensive. I just bought a used Kirby air ride for forty bucks, but it was worth it. Zelda: wind waker goes for $60 nowadays! Wasn't that much when I bought it when it came out...
Craziest thing I saw at that game store? A copy of the SNES game Earthbound - for $225!
