I know I'm in the minority... and I like him in other roles, but sometimes his Doctor just really pissed me off at times with all his hyperactivity and such. In other news, thankies for my first report! Felt so satisfying doing proper work!

I like how Moffat's stories plays with time and, especially since he took over the show, memory. I'm enjoying Matt Smith's Doctor a lot because of that. I'm a little surprised to hear someone say they don't love David Tennant to be honest. I thought everyone did. xD

Currently, I'm liking the whole River Song arc. It's an interesting dimension which to explore the concept of time travel, and Alex Kingston's doing a good thing with it. Most of the episodes written by Steven Moffat I enjoy immensely, especially in the Russel T. Davies premiership. Apart from Ecclestone, the other two Doctors run hot and cold with me. Some weeks I'll find them charming, others I'll just want to tear their heads off for being too quirky. Maybe that's more of a mood thing with me, rather than the show though...

Well, I don't expect every British person to know everything about it, but I thought I'd ask anyway since I'm working through the classic series. I'm curious: what parts of the new series do you like the most?

Despite being 100% British, I've never seen a Doctor Who episode before Christopher Ecclestone took the reigns a few years ago. Although I did have a Filofax dedicated to Doctor Who when I was about 8, so I'd have been able to TELL you everything about the differences between Peter Davison and Tom Baker... but that's gone, and gone with it are the memories. Shame, really.
Aw, thanks! I never start conversations either: this whole 'getting out of my comfort zone' will hopefully be good for me. I'm meeting lots of interesting people in the process, such as yourself!

A tiny little corner of the forum known as Pixel Art.
By the way, since you're a DW fan I'm wondering if it's for the new series or the old.
By the way #2, I'm glad you messaged me. I would've messaged you first since you seem like a nice person to get to know but, well, I hardly ever start conversations. So yeah.

It's nice that I'm keeping things interesting for you! Thanks for the congrats. Whereabouts did you mod while you were on staff?

It's nice having new... errrr... old.... err, you know, people around here who don't mind jumping into the middle of things and posting all over the place. Keep things interesting. For me at least. Oh, and belated congrats.

You can call me anything you like... Cat's a new one, to be perfectly honest. I think I like it!
Re: coming back. I bought Black version just over a month ago, so thought I check in and see how people were doing. After a few VMs from Erica and Went (who I'd never spoken to before... crazy Spanish stalker!) I guess I thought I should stay around for a bit longer. And now, I guess I have to stay around! Yay?

Oh, a challenge, is it?
Hey, Mr. Dog. Can I call you Cat? Well, Cat, I'm glad you found something helpful in the Japanese thread. I should really add more to that. I'm such a slacker. It makes me a little proud and happy knowing I'm helping. So... yeah. lalala I've seen you around recently and noticed your nice posts. You're one of the long lost early members, eh? What made you come back? Don't mind my rambling. I don't know what I'm saying half the time.

Hey. As part of the PokéCommunity Challenge, I need to pluck up the courage and introduce myself to people I'd like to get to know better, but haven't for one reason or another and... guess who's one of those people? In all seriousness, though, I really admire your the intelligence and clarity you put into your posts, as well as your quest to teach Japanese. I'm learning it myself, and your posts in Japanese Entertainment have helped piece some of the things together - especially katakana, which I still don't really like.
So... yeah. That's about it. You can get on with your life, now!
