No, it's just recently the internet's been raving about how awesome bacon is. Like that's anything new (bacon being awesome, I mean).
-
By "the whole bacon thing," do you mean the swine flu fiasco that happened a few years ago?
-
True, but a lot of things in satire also happen to be greatly exaggerated. Still, you're right about the wake-up call part, especially for the stuff that ISN'T greatly exaggerated.
Still, the whole zombie thing is nothing more than the stuff of fantasy, except for the "zombies" I've just described. It's also something that's been seeing another craze lately and I have no idea why. Same with the whole bacon thing.

Satire is suppose to be a wake-up call on what we should be doing irl.
-
Satire really isn't meant to be taken THAT seriously. XD
-
Because I do, and it's how I view society as a whole based on their portrayal from shows such as the Simpsons, Family Guy, and South Park.
-
Sometimes I think you watch too much TV. XD
-
No I was referring to the flesh-decaying, bone-revealing, torned cloth zombies.
-
Unless the "zombies" you're referring to are office co-workers and bored accountants.
-
I don't think I've ever heard of a single biology professor talk of a potential zombie apocalypse during a virus lecture. EVER.
